Hifiman headphones are known for their poor QC and my he400se is not an exception. But the case solves the issue of portability and protection as planar magnet headphones are very fragile, very sturdy and compact. The price does seems unfair but getting it on a sale is a good deal

HiFiMAN travel case is very good but unfortunately my HiFiMAN ARYA does not fit into it! Also, I was travelling around that time. So, I could not request timely for a return/replacement. Now I am living with it.
Considering that this an official hifiman product and priced over Rs. 3500, I expected that it would fit the properly Sundara (an awesome headphone from the same company). When the headphone is placed into the case, it does not close and requires you to close it like an overstuffed suitcase. Since the shell is not rigid, you have to press down opposite side of the hinges (near the handles) while closing it.
When I reached out to support with photos, they pointed me to another review that claimed that there were no issues.

I have connect the Zen Stream with my Zen DAC and Spotify on airetl broadband. After listening some time, I feel it is really excellent streamming device and perfect combination with ifi Zen audio stack. Awesome performance. Recommended strongly.

The headphone case is made very well. Its a hard shell case with a soft-to-touch rubber on the upper layer. The case comes with small velcro pouch, you can attach it anywhere inside the case. This case has enough space for the HIFIMAN Sundara, although I have to unplug the cables from the headphone and keep them in separately in the case. I would have given them 5 stars if HFIMAN would have had solved this, but still this is a great headphone case.

They Claim that it can fit all the HiFiMan Headphones, but no.
Hifiman Deva, it's not even fitting properly and kinda have to squeeze it.
the quality is Okayishly Good?!?!? but for the price, it's bad.
As another review has mentioned, this case is a but tight for the Hifiman Sundara. It will still do it's purpose, so it's not a bad buy, better than getting a soft case.

Nice unique looking case. Could have been bigger

Bought it on a discount at around 2000/- for my Hifiman Sundara. Given a Hifiman's own product I'm kinda disappointed. It fits Sundara perfectly in size, so for bigger headphones like deva etc you're out of luck. In thickness thought you gotta pull the ends (not too much) to zip it. (See S.M.'s review with a 3 star for pictures, I'm too lazy to upload one 🥱)
build quality is on poorer side, considering what brands like Tizum sells over at amazon at 600/- though that won't fit anything more than Audio Technica M series headphones. So had to buy this one. Hinge is made of regular nylon cloth and no way feels sturdy.
I feel a just price would be not more than 1200/- but there's no alternative in the market as of now. But 3500 for this is way too much, I'd rather won't have it
