Vinyl records are cut using inverse RIAA equalisation, which means the phono stage plays a critical role in restoring the music accurately during playback. The ZEN Air Phono 2 uses an exceptionally precise RIAA playback curve with a tight +/-0.15dB tolerance, helping preserve the tonal balance, dynamics, and intent of the original recording. The result feels natural and believable. Vocals sit where they should, instruments retain their body, and familiar records sound more coherent and emotionally connected.
