FEATURES 40MM NEODYMIUM DRIVERS THAT DELIVER A RICH NATURAL SOUND
Enjoy a crisp, balanced sound with the Meze 99 Classics. The 40mm neodymium drivers offer a clear, undistorted sound. Just sit back and put these on to enjoy the gorgeous sound of plucked strings, upbeat grooves or thumping beats that are natural and lifelike. In addition, the snug medium memory foam keeps away noise while offering superior noise isolation.
HIGH-QUALITY AND LUXURY IN EVERY ELEMENT
Apart from wood, the 99 Classics also use cast zinc and manganese spring steel. The headband ensures even pressure for long listening sessions. The ear pads and head pads are made of PU leather, while the ear cups are walnut wood. Nuts and bolts are used to assemble each component, making 99 Classics completely serviceable. The entire headphone is crafted from only premium materials without the use of glue or plastic.
MADE WITH CARE USING AN EXTENSIVE PROCESS FUSED WITH KEVLAR OFC CABLE
Each Meze 99 Classics takes almost 45 days before being released. The wood is harvested from mature trees that have reached the end of their life cycle, ensuring no harm to the environment while giving you that rich, natural sound. To further enhance the colours, the wood goes through extensive air drying and shaping by hand and CNC machining that takes almost 8 hours. It then goes through sanding, lacquering, finishing, and careful inspection. After all the process, the headphone is then finally assembled. The Meze 99 Classics are packaged with a detachable Kevlar OFC cable for lossless signal transmission, which also features a mic and remote.

No, you cannot fold the headphones but you could definitely detach the cable for portability.
Does Meze 99 Classics have Noise cancellation?
No, it has a noise isolation feature thanks to it's closed back on ear design and fit. Noise isolation just minimilizes the sound to a certain extent while still being able to hear the surrounding commotions of life.
I love bass. Will I be happy with how these sound?
It is not bass heavy but rather a very warm sound signature that means it will have good clarity and a bit enhanced bass.

Apart from wood, the 99 Classics also use cast zinc and manganese spring steel. The headband ensures even pressure for long listening sessions. The ear pads and head pads are made of PU leather, while the ear cups are walnut wood. Nuts and bolts are used to assemble each component, making 99 Classics completely serviceable. The entire headphone is crafted from only premium materials without the use of glue or plastic.
MADE WITH CARE USING AN EXTENSIVE PROCESS FUSED WITH KEVLAR OFC CABLE
Each Meze 99 Classics takes almost 45 days before being released. The wood is harvested from mature trees that have reached the end of their life cycle, ensuring no harm to the environment while giving you that rich, natural sound. To further enhance the colours, the wood goes through extensive air drying and shaping by hand and CNC machining that takes almost 8 hours. It then goes through sanding, lacquering, finishing, and careful inspection. After all the process, the headphone is then finally assembled. The Meze 99 Classics are packaged with a detachable Kevlar OFC cable for lossless signal transmission, which also features a mic and remote.
