10mm Double Cavity
A FRESH NEW DESIGN FOR A MUSIC LISTENING EXPERIENCE LIKE NEVER BEFORE
Aria was once a very popular in-ear monitor from Moondrop before it got discontinued. This IEM is making a comeback with a bang, with a new attractive design. Combining details, transparency and openness, the Moondrop Aria offers the best of beauty and comfort. It is rich in texture, comfortable to wear, and elegant in design.
LCP DIAPHRAGM, DUAL-CAVITY DYNAMIC DRIVER FOR A DETAILED AND NATURAL SOUND TO HIT YOUR SOUL
Featuring a 10mm dual-cavity dynamic driver, N52 neodymium internal magnetic circuit along with a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) LCD diaphragm, the Moondrop Aria offers high-end performance. This configuration delivers exceptional transient response along with a high resolution and detailed sound output. Enjoy an excellently balanced response with the brass cavity's volume control. These IEMs have an imported Daikoku-φ0.035mm CCAW voice coil which makes your music sound more transparent and natural.
UNRIVALLED FREQUENCY RESPONSE FOR EXCEPTIONAL RECORDING PERFORMANCE
The Aria has a composite sound chamber, multiple tuning holes, and various acoustic dampers, all of which contribute to the driver unit's precise frequency response and superb sonic performance. In compliance with the HRTF (head-related transfer function) and room response function, the frequency response of the Aria is optimised for modern recording. With an extended vertical sound field, the Moondrop Aria is a perfect IEM for excellent recording performance. To avoid distortion caused by high-frequency phase interference, the Aria features a newly designed high-frequency phase waveguide that makes treble more sensitive and natural.
INTRICATE ERGONOMIC DESIGN AND AN UPGRADEABLE SILVER-PLATED CABLE
Metal injection, moulding, CNC carved processing, and matte metal spray are all used to create the Moondrop Aria's high-grade metal cavity. These exquisite and moving pieces of art are ergonomically and aesthetically designed. The Moondrop Aria is paired with a replaceable silver-plated and nylon braided cable. It has a universal 0.78 2-pin interface. For even better sound, you can always replace this wire with a Bluetooth module, or a high-grade balanced cable. The nozzle of these earbuds is kept clean by a unique anti-clogging filter.

A TEAM OF PASSIONATE ENGINEERS DESIGNING HI-TECH AND PREMIUM AUDIO PRODUCTS
Something that started as a small studio by passionate engineers transformed into a company producing HiFi audio products. This shift happened in the year 2014 when Moondrop started developing earbuds and in-ear headphones. After overcoming a lot of challenges, Moondrop emerged as a brand in the year 2015. As for the first step Moondrop designed small open earbuds like the VX (debut product) and Liebesleid (2017) which garnered fame for Moondrop among professionals and audio lovers. Over time, Moondrop grew to be acknowledged as a company developing, manufacturing and distributing high-performance earbuds. The company then went on to produce well-received in-ear monitors like the IX, Kanas, Blessing, A8 and Reference putting it in the league of premium IEM manufacturers. After years of constantly developing itself, Moondrop now has its own development and manufacturing line along with a supply and operating chain. The modern-day Moondrop products feature innovative technology and well-crafted materials that help Moondrop to redefine its limits. Moondrop works within the corporate industry as well by investing, acquiring and corporate projects to consolidate a broader view together for a better tomorrow.

"Moondrop has introduced the new Aria, It sports the same robust metal shell with ergonomic design lavished with a new matte-black paint coat that looks properly dapper."Read More
"Mid-bass is punchy and tight enough o not feel thickened but still lends some warmth to the overall sound. It does have small amount of bleed, but not enough to mask the lower mids. "Read More
"I personally like Aria’s looks more than its older sibling Starfield as well as KXXS. Aria has a similar shell shape to KXXS but is a bit smaller and has slightly less shell depth in comparison."Read More
"The Aria offers healthy amounts of rumble and slam for the average listener, though both bassheads and neutrality purists may be disappointed by what has become the consensus bass tuning for IEMs. "Read More
"Moondrop Aria has been hot stuff for a while and rightfully so. I’ve been listening to it now for over a month and my impressions have drastically evolved since the first listen till now."Read More
"It feels premium & comfortable in my ears. The cable hooks were also the right amount of sturdiness & flexibility which makes sure the IEMs do not fall off when you move around."Read More
"Aria has a balanced sound with a subtle lift in the bass, upper midrange and lower treble. The overall tonality is U-shaped with some added warmth from the boosted bass response."Read More
"I find treble on the Aria impressive. It is airy and open, with a lot of sparkle that is quite pleasant and which offers a good counterbalance to bass. Extension is quite good as well. "Read More
"The Moondrop Aria is an extremely solid IEM that is worth well beyond its price. Its sound signature is spacious and highly enjoyable from its great bass to its elegant highs."Read More
As usual, the service and delivery offered by HeadphoneZone was great!
Moving to the earphones, I will state my pros and cons
-Lovely build quality and looks (Which are personal)
-The tonality is lovely with some clear highs, above-average mids and wonderful bass (Not for bass heads though)
-The soundstage is wide for the price range
-The carry case looks and feels pretty solid
-The fit of the wire is slightly unsatisfactory but it depends on each person. I will swap it out if it doesn't feel good over time
-No foam tips were offered along with the extra tips (The tin t3 and even the Blon Bl03 offered some decent foam tips
Overall, I absolutely recommend these for anyone looking to upgrade from something like the Tin T2s or the Blon Bl03s or some of the sub-5-6k iems. As per how they compare to the Starfields, most experts have claimed a very similar sound with a higher emphasis on the mids on the starfields but with a compromise in soundstage and the lows. So you can decide what is more important for you and take the call.
Thanks again HeadphoneZone!
Hey Rajat, thank you so much for sharing your honest review with us. We are sure it will help other potential customers to make an informed decision.
Well well ! Are you interested in punchy bass and clear mids ? Dont think much, just get the aria.
I was blown away by the texture in the bass! Look, if you like boomy bass which bleeds into mids look elsewhere. Aria is not for you. If you want to listen to the different layers of bass, all the instruments in the mids then aria is for you.
The imaging and sound stage are well above the price range and will not disappoint you. Its very comfortable to wear for long hours.
PS: I am not a believer in burn in but since the manual specifically said to do a 100 hour burn in, i was curious but used it straight out of the box. It still sounded great. I burned it for about a week and did notice better imaging but not very significant. So don’t think too much about burn in !!
Hey Karthik, we are so happy to hear that you are loving this product! Thanks for taking time and sharing this wonderful review. Happy listening! :)
The Arias have really, really great imaging. I am at awe at the amount of details I can find ajd pinpoint in songs I've heard over a 100 times. I've also noticed that this imaging makes the sound a lot less fatiguing because even if you crank up the volume, it seems to enhance the seperation of instruments instead of just blasting the music louder. I am not a bass head but I do like bass presence and these deliver wonderfully. The bass isn't just punchy but also detailed. Very satisfying.
The downside for me is that the soundstage is somewhat small, giving the music a very "in your head" feeling. But, that's about it. And that's not a dealbreaker by any means.
I would recommend using high quality audio files for these though, simply because the detail retrieval is so good on these that low quality audio files actually soubd terribly mixed and carry a hiss.
Thank you for the awesome review Manas!
I have been using the Moondrop Aria since a couple of days. I've mostly played CS GO and listened to some music on my iPhone (lossless via the 3.5 mm dongle), Mac, and PC.
While playing CS GO, the first time I fired the AWP when using the Arias, I was in awe. I haven't heard the AWP like this ever. I've used the Sony WH 1000XM3 and Airpods pro before this. Superb "spacialness" in the game. You can pin point where other players are.
For music too, these are really good. The drop on Laung Gawacha by Nucleya is the best I've heard so far. Yes, to me the WH 1000XM3 does sound better but this come really close. The bass is not overpowering in a way that it will not let you hear other things, but it is definitely punchy. I'm no expert, but they seem to have achieve a near perfect balance on lows, mids, and highs.
The only thing I might change down the line are the ear tips. Might get foam eartips. @Headphonezone any recommendations for this please?
Other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase.
