This ear tip significantly reduces the resonance of the mid-treble and the treble from the characteristics of frequency amplitude response, lowering the burr and sharp sound in the treble to a much more tolerable level. The carefully chosen soft silicone material improves comfort, and a radial double support structure is added to prevent the collapse of the tips cap and bass leaking.

To deliver a neutral sound to listeners, Moondrop adheres to the quest for perfection and stringent detail control regardless of whether they are designing earphones or accessories. To ensure soft and comfortable wearing, they created a new type of silica gel, a "Spring Ear Tip", that uses a double mould injection moulding process. The tips body is integrated with a newly developed high-frequency waveguide structure and radial support structure, which improves the support of the central axis and makes it durable and difficult to deform. This design effectively stops bass leakage while adjusting the treble timbre, resulting in better sound quality.
FINITE ELEMENT SIMULATION IMPROVES THE HIGH-FREQUENCY LINEARITY AND BRINGS A MORE NATURAL TIMBRE
The nozzle of Spring Tips is equipped with an acoustic waveguide structure that has been verified by FEA finite element simulation in conjunction with numerous experiments. This design significantly reduces the resonance of the mid-treble and the treble from the characteristics of frequency amplitude response, lowering the burr and sharp sound in the treble to a much more tolerable level. The carefully chosen soft silicone material improves comfort, and a radial double support structure is added to prevent the collapse of the tips cap and bass leaking. By significantly suppressing the treble resonance peak caused by the coupling between ear tips and canal, spring tips can further improve the restoration of the treble timbre.
