A Pre-order product is a product that we especially order for you from the brand. Once you place an order with us, we will order it from the brand for you.

2. How do I know when the product will be delivered?
There is a rough timeline on the product availability and once it has been confirmed with the brand, we will inform you.

3. Do you order the product from the brand as soon as I place the order?
We do not immediately order the product but add it in the upcoming order.

4. Will you be giving me updates?
Once we have ordered the product and have a confirmed timeline, we will give you an update.

5. I’d like to make changes to/cancel my order?
You can only cancel/make changes to your order until we place the order with the brand. Since the product is specifically being ordered for you, we will be unable to cancel/make changes once we order the product from the brand.

Defective? Tell us within 7 days. We'll take care of it.

Something wrong with your product? We'll sort it out.

Wrong product, damaged, or missing parts: Let us know within 24 hours of delivery. If it's just an accessory, we'll replace the accessory.

SMSL D400 EX is a brand-new flagship Desktop DAC designed with the latest-generation dual AK4499EX + AK4191 32-bit "flagship" DAC chips. It adopts the 3rd generation XMOS XU316 USB Processor, along with nine high-end OPAMP chips delivering unprecedented audio performance. The SMSL D400 EX supports all leading audio formats with support for decoding high-resolution PCM, native DSD, and MQA audio signals. It is an MQA and MQA-CD-certified premium Desktop DAC. The SMSL D400 EX can decode PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) up to 32bit/768kHz and DSD512 (Direct Stream Digital). It has a unique dual Mono design with one AK4499EX DAC chip per channel which helps keep distortion as low as 0.00006%. The SMSL D400 EX is also Hi-Res certified by JAS.

The SMSL D400 EX has audiophile-grade components in its circuitry. It has nine pieces of high-end dual op-amps and numerous quality components. The new self-developed CK-03 Clock Processing Unit helps reduce clock jitter. With a built-in low-noise power processing unit, the SMSL D400 EX provides a stable, low-noise power supply system. The SMSL D400 EX also has seven modes of digital filters allowing you to tweak the sound according to your preferences.

It has an I2S coupled with USB, Optical, Coaxial, and AES/EBU as inputs. For the wireless connection, it has a Bluetooth antenna.
