In case you receive the S.M.S.L - DA-9 with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The free replacement will be shipped only once the original order is returned.

A replacement will be issued only if:

- It is found to be defective
- It is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession
- The product is not different from what was shipped to you
- The product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein)

Cons:
Noticeable hissing noise from the amp. (Not from the speakers)
No Audio OUT jacks. Only SW OUT.
Popping noises when Treble is set to max.

Excellent desktop amplifier

Bought this from headphone zone as I wanted a decent amplifier with balanced inputs and a sub out. Very difficult to get these features in this price range. Connected it to a Topping E70 DAC, USB audio from my computer and subwoofer duty was a PSB Micro subwoofer. Using Mission QXC M2 speakers and half volume can be heard across the street...Thanks Headphone Zone.

High-Fidelity DAC at an Affordable Price

This DAC unquestionably falls within the realm of high-fidelity and even ventures into the high-end category due to its exceptional sound quality. The audio it produces is characterized by its cleanliness, precision, and speed, without any harshness. As a result, it offers an astonishingly broad soundstage that extends far and, more significantly, delivers pinpoint accuracy, especially when paired with my full-range driver speaker setup.

I must emphasize that the choice between balanced and unbalanced inputs has a profound impact on this DAC’s soundstage, accuracy, overall audio quality, and listening experience. I firmly believe that this compact DAC truly shines when coupled with high-quality components, particularly DACs or input sources equipped with balanced outputs, allowing it to reach its full potential.

In addition to its sound performance, the build quality of this DAC is commendable and robust. Personally, I find the display to be quite bright, and you have the flexibility to adjust its brightness. The Bluetooth connection functions flawlessly without any interruptions. To be fair, in all fairness, I find myself satisfied with this DAC's overall build quality and craftsmanship, particularly when taking into account its price point.

The sole drawback I experienced relates to the remote control. It could have been improved as it is notably thin and lacks backlighting.

If your primary consideration when selecting audio equipment is sound quality, I wholeheartedly endorse this S.M.S.L DA-9. Its sound quality greatly surpasses its other attributes and the price point at which it is offered.
