I'm a new IEM user and the one I bought came with a 4.4mm balanced cable instead of the regular 3.5mm jack. Since I don't own a DAC/amp, I bought this cable to connect with my iPhone's Apple dongle and LG V30+ phone. I can't compare this cable's performance with others since I don't have one, but it feels softer compared to my stock cable and sounds good to my ears.
