Hi ,
I have been looking for a c to 3.5 jack audio converter for my s23 ultra phone . tried many brands from amazon and online portals but none of them worked in a perfect manner. When I saw a youtube review for DACS from headphonezone , decided to go for the abigail.It works fine though the audio quality is not like flagship ones. very useful product for this price .

Qkz with Abigail ,good clear punchy everything

I am using with the Abigail dac and it sounds excellent with it .Without it the bass feels less punchy and overall sound stage diminishes.It is an excellent entry level dac and it is a beautiful one I will definitely upgrade in the future hence you shouldn't think twice if budget is your concern to buy it.

Like in the given discription, It does help a little bit in audio detail wise. The difference is quite noticable. I just wanted a good type c to 3.5 mm dongle. it's good that it comes with a tiny DAC to help improve your sound quality and the build quality is also quite good.

Annoying hissing sound

The build quality is good , but there is an annoying sound coming from the dac. This noise is pretty noticable at low volumes and causes a lot of discomfort while listening to music . I have used the kz edx pro with this dac. Edx pro does not fit well in this dac , if I move a little while wearing headphones , the headphones come out of the dac a little and the audio quality and the volume of the song reduces and sometimes produces a hissing sound. Apart from these two issues the Abigail dac has a good build and decent audio quality. But it's a bit overpriced considering the problems I have faced.

Its nice alternative for samsung dongle

Nice dongle which is enough to powerup Iem. I also tried to connect with sony wh1000xm4 for wired is not too good but for earphones its doing more than samsung and apple tyoe c dongle.

Both are good products and does the job well
I am using them with my CCA Pla13 and Samsung tab

However I prefer Avani over Abigail from sound signature perspective. With CCA PLA 13, Avani sounds louder than abigail

Exceeded expectations

I can't compare sound quality with other products as this is my 1st purchase.

But it definitely surprised me with build quality.

I was expecting cheap flimsy plastic dongle but this is quite well built.

Snug fitting at bond ends. No loose connection and braided cable part is good too.

The Abigail sure sounds a lot better than the inbuilt DACs on most smartphones. While it does not give you the breathtaking details and dynamism of some of the slightly more expensive DACs, it should convince all sceptics of the difference in the sound quality that upgrading a DAC can make.
