Placed the order on 8 of June (Wed), received it on 13 of June Monday, used from 14th to 17th of June in the evening after the crackling sound they stopped working. I tried them with different earphones I have with me but only one ear is working. And then I come to know they came without warranty wow... I just paid 1000 bucks for four days. 250 bucks a day. worst product I ever purchased it came like a 99Rs product with a scratch on it. I ignored the scratch with when product stopped working it. I was confirmed it worth not more than 99 Rs .. don't buy it... you never know when it will stop working. It like buying a product from a chor bazar in delhi.
I bought my Abigail 1month ago and now it is not working properly and headphonezone don't even give 2-3month warranty on the product . And now my 1000rs got wasted and i have to new one and then that one also work stop after 1month .

Here's why I bought this product: My old laptop's 3.5mm port failed me. Hence I was using my monitor's 3.5mm output to connect with my F&D T200X (2.1 system). In between, I connected the same set of speakers to a different laptop for a couple of months and I was able to feel a great deal of difference but that laptop was not mine. so had to go back to monitor's audio output which now felt very muddy to me. Then I started searching for a decent DAC and that is when I came to know about the passive and active ones. Since this is gonna be my first purchase, I did not want to shell out a hefty sum so started looking for dongles. I was contemplating between Apple dongle and Venture Electronics Abigail.
Headphoneone buying experience: Got in touch with the headphonezone team and they were as always very happy to call me and help me out. Therefore, best buying experience ever. Sure, I will make future audio gear purchases from here only. Never felt like buying online. The experience was that of an in-store feeling.
So finally decided to go with VE Abigail because I don't like the brand Apple that much.
The audio quality: I am not an audiophile man. I just love to listen to music. I have 10+ gigs of FLAC audio of Tamil Music from the 2000s and 1990s. I do not have audiophile-grade headphones or integrated amps or speakers. All I have is my F&D for the past 3 years. I must admit after I connected this dongle between my laptop and my 2.1 speakers, I heard music like I never heard before in my entire life. My 2.1 speakers never sounded this good before. I was so shocked and pleased at the same time. The audio was crystal clear and I could hear each and every piece of instrument going back to audio out from the monitor felt so muddy and muffled. It felt like the first time when I took an eye test and got spectacles after which I was able to see much better and clear. In a nutshell, it is better than a laptop or monitor audio out and makes my 2.1 sound really good (in a way it never sounded before). Hence understood the importance of a DAC.
Now the thing is, now that I have evidently seen that audio quality can be improved, I am curious to know how far this can go? Integrated amp? Bookshelf speakers? Desktop DAC? I am excited.
