In case you receive the Venture Electronics - Megatron with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. FEATURES ESS SABRE DAC CHIP AND CLASS AB AMPLIFICATION CIRCUIT TO DELIVER A PERFORMANCE THAT WILL SATISFY THE MOST DEMANDING AUDIO ENTHUSIASTS

The Megatron features a high-performance ES9018K2M Sabre reference DAC chip. It is a 32-bit, 2-channel audio D/A converter for audiophile-grade portable power-sensitive applications. Considering these factors, Venture Electronics created and built the Megatron circuitry in and around the ES9018K2M DAC chip's components. Using the critically acclaimed ESS patented 32-bit HyperStream™ DAC architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator, the Megatron delivers a jitter-free and natural audio performance level that will satisfy the most demanding audio enthusiasts. The DAC is coupled with laser Class AB Amp to produce a high-power output with SE 3.5mm at 2.4V and BAL 2.5/4.4mm at 4.9V. Line Out 3.5mm output is at 0.95V. The Megatron supports 24Bit/96kHz PCM (Pulse Code Modulation), delivering exceptional audio performance. Megatron has good soundstage presentation and precise imaging capabilities. The tonality is natural and smooth, and the male and female vocals sound full-bodied. The bass comes off as tight and punchy. The bass is well controlled and is articulate in its presentation. Megatron also excels in the treble region delivering a crisp, clear, and very holographic and airy sound presentation. Treble is clean with an acceptable amount of energy with zero sibilance. The Megatron is here to deliver an articulate performance that will satisfy even the most discerning audiophiles.

IMPECCABLE ALUMINIUM DESIGN, WITH MULTIPLE OUTPUT AND LINE OUT CAPABILITIES

The Megatron is made entirely of high-quality, long-lasting aluminium, and while having numerous functions, it has a sleek appearance. Its rectangular, slightly curved aluminium chassis gives it a relatively rugged appearance. Line out and direct out are configured using a multi-function toggle switch. It only takes a simple connection to turn on the Megatron. A tiny pinhole on the front houses a status LED; that glows green in DAC/Amp mode. In LO (Line-Out) mode, the LED glows blue. Then, to address all the headphone outputs, there are 3.5mm SE TRS, 4.4mm balanced TRRRS, and 2.5mm balanced TRRS connectors on the front baffle. A 3.5mm line out, a USB-C charging connector, a USB-C data port, and a toggle button to switch between DAC/AMP and LO modes are all located on the rear. Two type C ports on the Megatron make it practical to use and enable operation while charging. Despite lacking a built-in battery, the Megatron has a feature thanks to the charging port. Megatron makes use of a charging bridge. While you cannot charge your phone using its USB-C connector, Megatron's charge port allows you to add an external 5V charger to power your phone. You can also accomplish this if your computer has a Thunderbolt USB-C port for data and charging. If you connect the Megatron data connector to your laptop and the external charger to the Megatron charge port, you can use your laptop as a source while being charged. The Megatron comes with a USB-A converter and a USB-C to USB-C OTG cable.

does the needed work well

it has 3.5 unbalanced, 4.4 balanced and 2.5 mm balanced and a line out and can easily be powered by a phone.
very powerful amp meant for demanding headphones and iem's. if you use it for standard easy-to-drive iem like kz crn, it will have a noise floor like a slight hiss when no music plays. that problem can be solved if you can get something like 80-ohm impedance plug. i feel like DAC does make the bass tighter and improves tonality very slightly but IDK exactly how (I guess I am not an experienced audiophile). but the main task of this Megatron remains to give balanced output for demanding stuff with ease and still be able to be powered by phone and remain semi-portable.

although there was a problem with my piece, the 4.4mm port is busted, it jitters and I have to struggle a lot to set it delicately at the right position for the earphone to work. returning process is a pain so didn't do it but quality control still remains a problem with some Chinese-origin companies
