Does what its supposed to

So I bought a new Cambridge Audio setup (CXN V2, CXA81) and was dissapointed to learn that the headphone jack on the CXA81 was 3.5 mm, who does that??? This made my Grado SR325s useless, I know a product existed to convert 1/8 to 1/4 and in the past I have had the ones that is like an adaptor (without a wire) the problem with those is that many a times the weight of the plug coupled with the adaptor causes the jack to buckle and get lose. Audeze cable adaptor is perfect for that as it doesnt weigh down the jack. Its quality made I dont hear any loss in signal or quality from my Grados. HZ saved the day.

Small seemingly minor detail but totally worth it

Have been using the LCD-X on the Portable cobalt dac for a year now with some Amazon sourced adapters but loss of sound in one ear piece or sudden hiss on account of minor movement was a big hassle. This small addition ensures a snug connection and no loss or addition of anything .. enjoying the extremely enjoyable experience on one of audeze’s best gear.

Made a diff

Never bought this when I originally picked this up when I had purchased the LCD-X a year+ ago as it was out of stock. I was guided to an accessory shop in the HPZ compound and I picked up a local alternative. Never gave it any thought after that as it “worked” till I started picking up “noise” in the sound. I realized it was that adapter and I promptly checked the HPZ website praying the original Audeze adapter was in stock. It was. It came promptly and more than eliminating the “noise” I find it has made an appreciable difference to the sound experience !
