Audio-Technica - ATH-M20x (Unboxed)

The Audio-Technica MX20 is perfect for my primary purpose — listening to news broadcasts and good lyrical music. It does its job excellently and serves my needs in the best way. The only thing potential buyers should consider is the cord length, which is a bit too long for normal use. However, if you can manage that, the sound quality you get in return is truly amazing and well worth it.

I have used a lot of audio products ( Soundcore liberty 2, Airpods Pro 2, Phillips PH805 etc) and these are better sounding than all of them (Atleast for me because sound is subjective , but clarity and details wise these are surely better than them). I was initially sceptical about the term PROFESSIONAL headphones as I have used only normal consumer centric headphones but trust me you will love them. And please don't listen to people who say they don't have bass, they have adequate amount of bass, its just that you won't feel any rumble or strong thump with these. They sound excellent. The only thing that I can think of due to which some people might not like is that they don't have a thick or smooth sound (Because of less bass). They have some extra treble (which almost every studio headphone does), So they may sound a little bit shouty or a little shrill to some people, so if are treble sensitive or are coming from listening to normal headphones like me or like thick and smooth sound then this is the only thing that you should know or think about. Otherwise you will love these. One more thing I would like to add is that I bought these with a DAC ( Headphone zone ×ddHifi) as they need amplification and they do sound a lot better with one. Suppose they sound like a 10 with a DAC, then they sound like a 7.5 without one ( and I used a laptop too, same result). So I would recommend buying these with a DAC.

Outstanding sound quality.

The Audiotechnica ATH M20x headphones are truly a game-changer in the world of audio excellence. From the moment you put them on, you can feel the exceptional build quality and attention to detail that Audiotechnica is known for.
One of the standout features of these headphones is their sound quality. After a 85 hours of burn in the sound have become more intense.

This is my first time using an studio headphone!
My initial impression is just wow!
I can clearly differentiate between lows, mids and highs.. instrument separation is there.
The clarity of this headphone is just wow!

These are not meant for everyday listening where you want to feel the bass.these are not meant for gaming.thats not their purpose.
So anyone who reads reviews stating that it's missing the low end compared to other products-true, but that good thing because they're primarily for audio recording and engineering.
Keeping that in mind, the sound quality is quite good. The response is reasonably flat,and above as dry as it can get to my voice, in this price range. Isolation is not perfect but better than average,if this is your budget and you need record and mix the basics, they're very good in this price rang.

This headphone is a beast, great sound, perfect performance for every kind of music. Works perfectly with phones too. Very comfortable and light weight. Just perfect.

Now about Headphone Zone,
Was using regular headphones before, while looking for some good pair i ran into this one for entry level. Finally I enjoyed music how I wanted. Using Flat EQ settings.
If highly professional sound engineers mastered the sound of for example Pink Floyd album, Why you need to listen it with some bass boosted or treble boosted headphones? They are already fine tuned it for you. Just take the flat monitor headphones and enjoy.
Do not forget to use FLAC files and proper sound source. Don't use it with phone with 128kb mp3 and say that it is not sound good.
And please note that headphone has a long 3 metres cable so it would be great if used indoors only.
Fully satisfied. Value for money.

the headphones are really well made & the sound is balanced and with a good sound stage.
I have used audio technica before and these live upto the standard. The 3 years warranty is really good too.
Must buy if looking for headphones under 5k rupees.

These headphones are great. I personally love audio technica products and this is the best one can get under the 5k range.

The highs feels a bit boosted which is translated by some as less bass. But a little EQing on the master bus can resolve this issue.

In love with the sound stage offered by these headphones. The sound isolation is superb as well. The headphones are a bit too tight and can get uncomfortable if I wear them for too long. But otherwise I absolutely love them. Would recommend it to everyone.
