DESCRIPTION

DJ30A is particularly designed for products that come with 4.4 mm balanced jack but does not have a 3.5mm single-ended jack. The purpose of this adapter is to stimulate the 3.5mm single-ended connection without manipulating short circuits of the negative poles on the right and left channels. DJ30A features a T-Adapter making it easy to rotate. Kindly note that DJ30A does not support Sony Digital Music Players / Walkman. Additionally, DJ30A is not recommended for products with in-built 3.5mm jack.

Used this on AK HC2 which has only 4.4mm balanced out. My preamp has only single ended input. Works very well for my use case.

The product was well packed.
The connector actually looks cuter than it appears on the site pics.
This was sufficient enough to create a good first impression.
The connector is handy, firm enough to hold the pin and is sturdily built.

Audio quality -- excellent. Build quality -- best I've seen across multiple electronics industries

Some months ago, I bought a Fiio KA2 as a DAC for my phone. I failed to check the port (4.4mm bal, not 3.5mm unbal) and was unable to connect my ATH-m50x-es to it.

This product was out of stock back then.

I was not expecting it to come back in stock anytime soon.

Now, I have tested the Fiio KA2 + ddHIFI DJ30A with both my ATHm50x and my Shure SE215 Wired. Both audio and build quality are excellent. A key point is that they have chosen (or machined)? the plug and socket such that the connection is really tight -- an important consideration for a portable-use product. You don't want loose contact when your phone is sitting in your pocket and you're walking around. That's just annoying.

Fulfilment and delivery is stellar, as always. It's good that Headphone Zone have chosen possibly the best air courier service in the country.

Not a Great Product

I attached DJ30A 4.4-3.5 to TC44A iPhone adopter - and the sound is terrible. May be the combination is wrong. But built is solid.
