Dekoni Audio - Elite Earpads for Audeze LCD Series

The Dekoni - Elite Velour Earpads are so comfortable, an upgrade to the OEM earpads.
Need something for the worn-out headband!

The pad work fine is slightly warmer than the stock pad due to being bit thicker. Not sure how will it stack in long run, but the foam is dense and soft.
Quality and fitting wise it's a 5/5 for my Sundara 2020.
Reducing final rating to 3 coz it's so expensive and getting it to apply was some effort.
I know dekoni are premium company but charging so much for just ear pad sets some sour taste.
Really appreciate HPZ team to bring us third party earpads to us Indian community but it would be really great if they also have some other alternatives than these expensive ones.

In the end I am still happy with my purchase.

Gave a very interesting tonality to HD600.. Immediate noticeable elevated bass coupled with wider soundstage. Vocals sound a bit more intimate. It does change the typical neutral characteristic of HD600 - but more a fun/engaging sound nevertheless. Its unfair to say these are better than stock pads - i would rather say - its a great alternative and you hear 2 different sound signature of HD600 - which surprised me. Total value for money. Well done Dekoni. Thanks HPZ - promptly taking take care of audiophile needs.

Its soft and well built , fits perfectly on Beyerdynamics. Do get the suede rather than leather. Leather won't last long because of sweat and dirt build up. But suede, just take them off and take for shower ;D

The headphone are very comfortable even better than the already comfortable stock earpads.

This is best for making a quick modification to your headphones. It's fun to experiment with different sounds. I bought it for Fostex T50rp MK3 for its highs. 
It comes with four different pairs of pads, each with their own function.
Basically, this is a G8 way of knowing your liking for your sound.

The quality and the size of this case is excellent. My present headphones fit easily into it and there is enough space for a dap n portable dacamp to fit in also.

The excellent thing about Dekoni is that they have graphs on there websites which illustrate the frequency response changes that one can roughly expect. Nobody else does that so Kudos to team Dekoni on that one. So how to reach a decision by that you want/need it?
Subjectively: Check your headphone’s FR graph and correlate it with the FR on the Dekoni website. See if it change the FR in the expected manner.
Objective: Check the FR on the Dekoni website and see if that is the change you want to your tuning or not.

What to expect?
Sub bass shelf takes a beating all the way to 100Hz. Rest of the bass remains unchained. The change then starts at 1KHZ. There is recession all the way till 4KHZ and then it gets elevated all the way upto the brilliance area. You will experience very wide and deep soundstage with controlled upper mids. The overall sound signature will become a little bright but if you eq the bass shelf by +10db. You are set for an engaging and smile inducing experience.

For reference I am using these on LCD-XC 2021 and the soundstage has become uber massive. Not to mention that these are cooler and probably the best friend in summer heat.

More comfortable than the original earcups !. Earcups are first thing to wear off in headphones. So I bought these for maintenance of my WH-1000XM4 ( bought them here too! ). Dekoni is only available here.

The case is snug fit for the hd 800s and plan to use it for daily storage. On the stellia it was a slight stretch and more effort than the hd . The price is on the higer side though!

Damn comfortable. It looks good. You can see it. It feels great. You will see that too.
But it just boosts the entire lower range. There is this new 'larger' cup that is formed.. and that results in this. Made my already bass-heavy Sony into even more. But nothing a simple EQ won't rectify. Barely used it for a couple of hours since I installed it.. will surely find the new EQ sweetspot.
All Sony default gesture functions stay intact. The music stops when I take the headphones off.. and restarts when I put them back on.
The plastic "lever" that is provided with it to pluck out the original earpads is pretty much done for.. won't be able to use it anymore. It bent during the removal, and I had to use a small screwdriver to dislodge the original earpads. Other than that, installing it was a breeze.
The case bulges a bit.. but still zips up without an issue.

Let me start by first mentioning the quick and timely delivery from headphone zone. Now talking about the ear cushions, they are really well made, slightly more dense than original and provide a better feel than the originals, the seams are not glued like in original ones, but stitched and would make them last longer (will provide an update after 1 yr). My original ones barely lasted 1 yr, even with very careful use.

So if you are looking for a replacement, go for it and you be pleasantly surprised.

Go for it, quality product. Best price, unique and stylish item. Even after compressing the ear pad cushion to max during installation, it retains the shape, durable and is soft. Extends wearable comfort of the headphones to a large extend, less heating issue. Precision hooks provided, challenging to remove the stock leather ones out. Sony should make it easier to swap out and customise the ear pads.

A very nice upgrade over original Sundara pads. Definitely makes the pair feel even more sturdy and well built. There is also no more slight itchy feeling as with the original ones. These ones are definitely an upgrade over original pads with regards to sound as well where there seems to be an upgrade in bass response, keeping everything else unchanged. Regards to Headphone zone for their superlative efforts in making the best accessories available to us.

Great service by HeadPhoneZone. I had made an error in my order, the wrote an email to the Team and they did what was required. It was a breeze. The pads are excellent.
