Worthy of an iem even today after 2 years

Amazing separation and soundstage
Clarity through different parts... On point vocals with solid body especially upper midrange vocals.. Male vocals have body but aren't pronounced like the female/upper midrange. But still there's no hint of a bias towards some part of the spectrum... All things have a very nice balance..
The bass is very controlled, hits fast, and has decent note weight- the midbass is where there's a little kick to it but don't expect no kind of thunder rumble, it hits fast and feels uniquely enjoyable without being the main focus. it's so well done audiophiles who crave a clean experience will love it but those who want to enjoy the beats away this might disappoint a little. Nevertheless I've found it has good enough quantity and quality of bass.
The midrange - Just smooth and awesome... This is an iem for vocal lovers albeit those who like a bright tuning. It's a forward mids presentation unlike a warm one where there's much more fun in the bass and lower midrange like the tangzu fudu verse 1. Female vocals have great details with the tone and timber being really good . Although they might be a little too prominent for some. But for me i love it... It's never crosses the line of being too sharp or fatiguing. It's just super fun with all the openness.
Treble - I dunno about how well it's extended but I can say that it's very well controlled and had so much fun and sparkle in the air region of it. Its ridiculous for me coming from the salnotes zero. I was missing this air.
Accessories and other- the case is a very nice inclusion it's flat and the iems need some turning around to fit nicely coz they are winder than the case in certain orientations but no complaints. It's a very nice case. 10 pairs of eartips total. Red core that are a little stiff and white ones that have a soft stem... The white ones provide good isolation and fit I've found but I still use the red. The blue ones have a small bore if u feel u want a little more bass at the cost of some clarity But they don't do much. The cable is soft and feels ... Not cheap. These fit so well there's never strain on the cable despite them being heavy made of metal.
An easy recommend for vocal lovers. If you don't want too neutral a signature like hexa these rock!
If not a fan of high vocals or crazy for clarity and want more fun in the sound maybe have a look at the tangzu verse.
Oh and yes do pair these with at least a cheap dac... Not a dongle, a proper dac. I use one from audiocular. No need for amp.

They feel quite Airy and smooth sounding ... Comfortable too. A plus is the headphone zone service ... I had some hiccups with the product after a few months of use ....so they checked it and took great care of the situation.

There are 5Star reviews all around, so not much else to add. They sounded great right out of the box.
The IEMs came with a handful of eartips. So took a one-time exercise to find the right eartip size and type, but it was well worth the effort.

new pair of iems, they are lovely

I had to switch from headphones to iem due to hair fall upon extended headphone usage. I loved the salnotes zero, so I wanted to get something different, initially getting the truthear hexa. However the unit I received was defective, so could not use it much (had it returned). Instead opted for the dunu titan s, and these are lovely till now. The difference from the salnotes zero budget iem is noticeable and the iem treble does not bother me at all, it is not unpleasant in any way. Hopefully this unit won't ever go bad on me and lasts years to come.

The DUNU Titan S truly lives up to their moniker; they are a behemoth and the benchmark for a pair of neutrally-tuned IEMs. DUNU went for a minor bass boost instead of trying for a flattened bass curve like so-called neutral targets. As a result, the Titan S is now more approachable for people looking for a neutral IEM with a bass presence, holographic, and airy representation.

Titan S provides the highest sound quality for the price to enhance your music. With the Titan S, DUNU has included a recently created 11mm dynamic driver. This driver uses a polycondensate LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) diaphragm, which offers excellent performance and minimal output signal distortion. Expect only the best performance from the Titan S since DUNU painstakingly developed it with a lightweight ultra-fine CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminum Wire) voice coil and N52 magnets. Regions of the frequency spectrum

SUB BASS
(20Hz - 80 Hz)

The first section of the frequency spectrum is the sub-bass. Everything below 80Hz is sub-bass, so generally, you need a subwoofer or a good pair of headphones (open-back headphones, for example) to hear this region. This region comprises instruments like the Kick Drum and the Bass Guitar. You should be able to hear Sub-Bass if you’re listening on monitors or headphones. But if you’re listening on a laptop or a phone, there’s no way you will hear that.

MID BASS
(80 Hz - 300 kHz)

After the Sub-Bass region, we get into the region known as the Bass or Mid-Bass. This region consists of everything between 80 and 300 hertz. In this area, we’ve got instruments like bass guitar and the low end of a snare. Lots of the low-end vocals as well, because male vocals are going to have the fundamental below 200Hz in most cases.

LOWER MIDRANGE
(300 Hz - 1000 kHz)

Next, if you go from 300 Hz up to 1000 kHz, this is known as the Lower Midrange, and this is a crucial region for music because this is where you get a lot of buildup with guitars, vocals, and even the top-end of the bass guitar especially. Lower Midrange is an area guilty of adding mud to a mix and clarity in this region lifts a track exponentially.

UPPER MIDRANGE
(1 kHz - 6 kHz)

Human hearing focuses inherently on this frequency range. So it’s crucial to get this range right. This region consists of the main focus of the track (e.g. vocals) and synths. Be aware that this is also where you can start to get into harshness and aggressive tones.

TREBLE
(6 kHz - 10 kHz)

After the Upper Midrange, we’ve got the Treble region between 6kHz and 8 kHz, and this is where things start to get harsh. This region is where we have brittleness from instruments like the Hi-Hats and Cymbals. This is also a crucial range for clarity and aggression, especially for female vocals.

AIR
(10 kHz - 20 kHz)

At the end of the frequency spectrum, we get to the Air region or the Top End. This region consists of everything above 10 kHz. This is where we have air and this is where we get a sense of shine and sparkle in our music.
