However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. Bluetooth multipoint technology was introduced with the release of Bluetooth 4.0, over a decade ago. It’s a feature that allows Amps & DACs to maintain simultaneous connections to at least two source devices like a laptop and smartphone.


         

Multipoint allows you to seamlessly switch between devices, such as a computer and phone, without touching your devices. The simultaneous playback of audio from two devices is not possible with Multipoint, though.


         

In simple terms, Multipoint enables you to maintain a connection to two of your favourite, often-used devices at the same time. It is a great functionality allowing you to multitask without the hassle of tweaking the settings of Bluetooth.

A majority of people use a laptop as the primary source device to listen to music or watch movies. Since the laptop is an essential part of the audio chain there are headphones and devices designed to work a laptop or computer system flawlessly. You may not even realise it, but most of us use a digital-to-analogue converter (commonly known as a DAC) daily. Built into your computers, tablets and smartphones, a DAC is fundamental to unlocking the convenience of digital music. Any device that acts as a digital sound source will need a DAC to convert digital audio to analog. A DAC converts the digital information stored in “0s and 1s” into an analog signal that's passed to speakers or headphones and ultimately our ear. In short, DACs play a large part in making digital music hearable. 

While this technical process is undoubtedly impressive, the DAC embedded into your smartphones or laptops is nowhere good enough to listen to your favourite music recordings in high quality. So, if you want to listen to music in high quality, an external DAC is essential to allow headphones or speakers to perform at their potential. An external DAC, first and foremost, will improve audio quality dramatically.

Wireless Range

You must have most likely noticed that wireless signals do not travel an infinite distance. The farther a wireless signal goes, the weaker it gets. This loss is known as path loss, and it defines the range of connectivity. This range of connectivity is dependent on the wireless protocol in use like Bluetooth. Three classes offer standard ranges of connectivity with Class 1 devices transmitting at 100 mW with a range of 100 meters or 328 feet. Most Bluetooth headsets and headphones are Class 2 devices that transmit at 2.5 mW with a range of 10 meters or 33 feet. Lastly, Class 3 devices transmit at 1 mW with a range of fewer than 10 meters.

DIGITAL REJUVENATION WITH THREE MODES OF OPERATION FOR EASE OF USE

Connect your phone or music player to the BTA30 Pro via Bluetooth, and then connect the BTA30 Pro to your non-Bluetooth audio system to enjoy music wirelessly. The digital output of a TV, CD player or computer may be connected to the BTA30 Pro, which then transmits sound to your Bluetooth headphones for a truly cinematic listening experience (including any format with any input). Supported formats include LDAC, aptX HD, aptX LL, and SBC; Optical, coaxial, and USB inputs all support LDAC. The BTA30 Pro can be used as a DAC to transform digital audio into a high-quality analogue signal when connected to a computer or other devices. Optical input supports 96kHz/24bit, while coaxial input provides native DoP128 up to 384kHz/24bit. DoP256 and 384kHz/32bit are supported for USB input. It supports driverless UAC1.0 and UAC2.0 (configured on the app), and any DAC mode input is capable of RCA line output. Coaxial output cannot be used with coaxial input. Bypass mode can be operated with optical input in transmitting and DAC modes.

An all win device at an all wil price.

I own a pair of Dynaudio Xeo 10 active speakers with in-built DAC (only optical input), Bluetooth (aptx codec supported) and two analogue inputs. As these speakers use active crossovers, even the analogue input passes via an internal DSP to convert the analogue to digital (ADC) signal for further processing.

I use a raspberry pi based (USB / coaxial) transport for local files and Apple Music / Spotify / Amazon Music for streaming.

After lots of research and reading, I decided to bite the bullet with the FiiO BTS30 pro as it ticked lots of boxes for me to connect to my active speakers.

I have spent around 10 days with it now and it is possibly the most versatile devise that I have owned so far. Small footprint, exceptional engineering and quality.
The Bluetooth range is almost 30 meters, i am able to use in an adjacent room with no drop in signal even in LDAC mode. You can connect two devices simultaneously.

As DAC/ Bypass Mode: You can input at USB, Toslink or Coax. With USB and toslink inputs, you can take both digital (coax and toslink) as outputs as well as analogue outputs. With Coax input, you can only avail analogue outputs.
In Bypass mode, Optical input is available as both coaxial and optical output
As Bluetooth Receiver (all high quality codecs are supported): Connect with any Bluetooth transmitter like your phone for music playback. Like DAC mode, output is available as both digital (toslink and coax) and also through the analogue outputs.
As Bluetooth Transmitter (all high quality codecs are supported): Connect to any Bluetooth receiver like your BT-enabled headphones to listen. All the inputs (USB, coax, toslink) are supported. So you can play from your laptop, CD player or any device that has USB, coax or optical outputs.
FIIO Control App (on android and apple phones with bluetooth): You can control many features like switching inputs, adjusting preamp volume, upsampling or downsampling the input signal, enabling or disabling preamp and choosing roll-off filters.

TO SUMMARIZE, THIS DEVICE WILL WORK AS A DAC, DIGITAL TRANSPORT, BLUETOOTH RECEIVER OR BLUETOOTH TRANSMITTER AND ALSO AS A VERY GOOD PREAMP FOR ALL ITS INPUTS.

Sound Quality:
Absolutely exceptional. When using its analogue outputs with an external integrated amplifier or active speakers, I would suggest to use the FiiO Control app to gain match between the FiiO’s and your pre-amps volume control.

Bluetooth performance is also excellent, it automatically locks to the best codes available in the source (say your mobile phone). While using LDAC mode, enter Devise Options in Developer Mode in your phone, set LDAC to highest audio quality (with some phones you will have to do it every time you connect.

This is an absolutely exceptional device to own without breaking the bank and can become the center piece in your setup.

This is one of the under estimated beauty....

This little hulk gave new life to my Rotel 12 years old amp and 15 yes years old Dynacord monitor speakers... Ignore all negative reviews it's definitely better than ifi v2.. and I'm enjoying lossless quality from pc to Sony 1000 xm4, all of them sounds like never before...

Excellent Bluetooth cum DAC

FiiO - BTA30 Pro is an excellent, feature packed value for money bluetooth transreceiver and DAC, works well rightaway out of box. I have a NORGE 2060 amplifier and wanted to connect bluetooth and optical cable with my DVD/TV. It worked rightaway, sound quality is awesome and worth the money.

Great High end Bluetooth transmitter receiver unit with Sabre DAC

Great build quality , ESS- sabre chip is making all my bluetooth enabled speakers live! Unit is really a sound hub for both modern and conventional devices, all the input ports,USB C, Optical, Bluetooth and functioning perfectly. Only disappointment is the aux input , I thought the line out should work as a aux input, but it work only as line out in receiver and in DAC only mode. But the sweet ESS Sabre sound ( I personally prefer ESS Sabre over PCM/AKM) over ruleout all limitation. Thanks to Headphonezone for providing such a detailed specs and wonderful online shopping experience.
