The Type E Wireless Edition uses an ultra-thin soft silicone umbrella that flexes naturally against the ear canal, creating a secure seal without excessive pressure. This softer fit reduces sound leakage, helps prevent earbuds from slipping out, and improves long-term comfort significantly. A more consistent seal also improves bass presence while smoothing out sharp high frequencies for a cleaner, less fatiguing sound. Final Audio has additionally optimised the aspect ratio for every size to better match different ear canal shapes.

Unlike conventional eartips, the Type E Wireless Edition uses a dedicated short-shaft design that avoids interfering with TWS charging cases. The tips are available in six sizes from SS to LL, making it easier to achieve the correct fit across different ear shapes. Both Black and Clear versions are available. The Clear version uses a slightly different texture and hardness, resulting in slightly lighter bass and clearer treble compared to the Black version. Final Audio also recommends experimenting with different sizes including different sizes for each ear, since fit directly affects bass response, isolation, and tonal balance.

The Type E Wireless Edition uses a common-style shaft design compatible with many true wireless earphones from different brands. The thicker silicone core improves grip and stability while remaining soft enough for everyday use.
