CUSTOMIZED SC CUT OCXO LOW NOISE ISOTHERMAL CRYSTAL FOR DETAILED AND REALISTIC AUDIO PERFORMANCE
Managing the temperature efficiently is vital to the performance of the audio clock. The quartz crystal resonator installed in the crystal oscillator often faces high-temperature issues. To deal with this the Gustard C18 employs oven-controlled SC Cut Ocxo crystal isothermal oscillators that use a constant temperature bath to keep the temperature in check. This low noise crystal oscillator reduces fluctuations in the oscillator output frequency caused by changes in ambient temperature. The upgraded oscillation core ensures detailed playback, realistic restoration and an optimized sound performance way better than the previous model C16.
LOW LOSS GDRV-P1 DRIVER ENABLING INDEPENDENT SQUARE & SINE WAVE OUTPUT
The back-end equipment cannot be driven by the power of the OCXO alone. On being directly connected to the back-end equipment, it raises challenges like signal instability, causing indicators degradation and adversely affecting the sound. Additionally, connecting multiple devices at a time becomes impossible. To address these issues head-on the Gustard C18 comes with a dedicated driving circuit—GDRV-P1. This high-performance low-loss driver lowers phase noise output while also delivering two independent signals for square wave and sine wave output at a time. This leads to a better connection with the back-end equipment. You can pair the Gustard C18 with a customised C2 clock line (sold separately) to further enhance the performance.
