In case you receive the iBasso - DX170 with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. UTILISING FPGA MASTER TECHNOLOGY TO DELIVER JITTER-FREE AUDIO

The FPGA-Master technology created by iBasso is used by the DX170. As the SoC's (System On Chip) audio system controller, the FPGA-Master is crucial to signal reproduction and maintaining signal integrity. It does so by directly requesting audio data from the SoC. Utilising two NDK femtosecond oscillators, it synchronises and creates all audio clocks simultaneously to produce a fully synchronised single clock source. In addition, jitter is drastically reduced by the FPGA and NDK oscillators, delivering a clean digital audio signal.

My end-game DAP - review after 1.5 months of use

The title really says it all for the review.
this is the 2nd ibasso audio product i own and i just really like their sound and quality of products.
as someone who was very skeptical of daps (because our phones do everything), this dap has been my main for listening to music and just music only. i love how everything is just offline!
things i like:
- builld quality & colour (the blue is just gorg)
- buttons & volume knob
- android operated
- sd card facility
- mango player (the built-it music player, it is very very nice)
- solid DAC & AMP build
- amaze soundstage & just v v fun to listen to music with this
- the fact that i can play music by folders & not depend on the default sorting system of the player
- battery life -- you can get good battery life (1+ days) but you REALLY have to playaround with the settings and offload/disable all apps. since i only have offline music in my DAP, i get good battery life. Before, when i tried wifi streaming my music, the DAP barely lasted.
- the in-box type-a to type-c cable is solid! i love the length and the build

things i wish were different:
- providing a better cover than the in-box silicon one -- when it turns yellow, i have no idea where i'm gonna find a replacement
- 2.5mm headphone jack instead of 4.4mm (this is just what i prefer)
- improved battery life when streaming music online
- wouldn't get hot like indian summer heat temps -- can happen when you're streaming, have more apps open in the background, wifi & bluetooth running all-time. it saps battery like crazy and also gets super-hot.

things that the DAP may not be suitable for:
- online streaming
- using it like a phone attached to the internet all the time

well, if you've made it this far and thinking to yourself, what is the point of spending almost 40k on this if all you can do is listen to offline music and beyond that, your DAP just becomes a fancy paperweight, well my priorities were as follows:
- a DAP that doesn't have a smartwatch's face for display (readability is key)
- a DAP that could be held comfortably in one-hand like a 5" phone
- an android-based OS DAP
- a DAP with good build quality
- a DAP with good internal storage (enough to run w/o hics)
- online streaming is not a priority
- your entire local music library in the palm of your hands
- a DAP that you will travel with so good battery life

there are good ones in the market but either they were too high a price for my needs or i had to give up on some of my priorities that i wouldn't call a "compromise".

Basically - if you're in the market for a DAP, know your needs and specs as well. Do the research and foremost - you really need to want a DAP to even venture into DAPs in the 1st place! I really love mine & never looking back.

Ibasso DX 170 DAP

As a first-time user of DAP, I found it better than my A&K XB10 Dac/Amp. In fact, I can use it independently without depending on my mobile phone for accessing music Apps and for listening to music without any hassles. I am yet to try the balanced output using balanced cable with 4.4 mm terminator in order to judge the sound quality.

I Basso DAP/DAC.

One of very nice DDAP/DAC, goes better with 4.2 mm to 3.5 mm male female adapter. How ever I also have Tempotec V 6 for me Tempo tec V 6 is stunning which I bought from headfone zone also
