Louder and brighter for sundara

I was convinced by headphone zone articles that balanced cables makes the sound quality better. Still a bit unsure went for the cheapest one available. After a day’s listening on my sundara I am sure of 2 things:
Audio was louder (mostly because of higher balanced output from dac/amp)
Audio was remarkably brighter.
Was it clearer ? I am not sure.. or May be couldn’t tell any difference on clarity / detail. So the whole purpose got defeated. I am not disappointed but not happy either.

Works extremely well will the Meze 99 neo. Whether the cable should cost a thrid of the prices of the headphone is another question.

A bit expensive but a must upgrade if you own the Neo's or the Classics

Does what it's supposed to do. There is a perceptible difference when you upgrade from using a 3.5mm unbalanced cable to a balanced cable. For my Meze 99 Classics, the instrument separation improved-own noticeably. Bass especially in the lower end was a LOT more evident and punchy. A balanced port also generally delivers more power to your cans so it's good to have some headroom there. It's a simple product and a must in my opinion if you own either the Classics or the Neos.
You won't go back to the 3.5mm cable once you listen to music from balanced output. Just make sure you decide which DAC/Amp you are going to use and whether it has a 2.5mm or a 4.4mm output.

I'm pairing this cable with Meze 99 Classics and Astell&Kern - AK XB10.

Works well with Hifiman Sundara

The cable feels ok, it does not coil much which was my main problem with stock cable. Works well with Sundara even though the cable pin seems different. The balanced cable output difference feels significantly better than the stock unbalanced cable. There was a good presence in sub bass which was absent earlier.
