MOONDROP INTRODUCES THE ANTI-CLOGGING FILTER/DAMPER, THE IDEAL REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR CLOGGED FILTERS
Moondrop includes design filters in its in-ear monitors, which, over time, can accumulate dust and earwax, leading to channel imbalances due to air dampness. To address these issues, Moondrop has introduced a solution with the Moondrop CHU II, featuring a new generation of replaceable acoustic filters. The brass nozzle's detachable front end allows users to easily replace the filter, offering a more convenient and reliable solution compared to existing multi-layer filters. This design ensures lower costs for blockage or damage compared to standard nozzles.
NOTE: All Moondrop products finished after April 2020 will come with this filter. Due to the special; design of Moondrop filters, they don't recommend any after-market filters as they may cause acoustical degradation.

First of all, Moondrop Chu- II is an absolute bang for its buck but the fact that the filters give out in less than a year even after taking care of it and cleaning them occasionally kind of bums me out, ig its just a marketing strategy. Also in the page it is mentioned 3 pairs but I only received *5* filters in total. Not a big deal but anyways good to mention.
I've had my Chu 2s for almost one and a half years now, and they are my primary IEMs for gaming. One of the most comfortable IEMs I've ever had. And I was horrified to notice that the right side IEM had reduced volume. I googled and found out that it might be the filters that got clogged up and a potential filter replacement could fix it. I immediately went to Headphonezone and saw them and signed up to be notified for a restock.
Got the notification and immediately bought them as they go out of stock very quickly. Anyways, received the package and to my surprise, they had put in plastic tweezers as well. Opened up my Chu 2s, cleaned the gunk out, put in the replacement filters, and lo and behold, they sound as magnificent as the day I bought em! Thank you, Moondrop for selling replacement filters, and thank you, Headphonezone for providing em! You guys oh so ABSOLUTELY ROCK!

I recently purchased the Moondrop Chu II replacement filters and they made a huge difference. Without the filters, the IEMs sounded overly sharp at times—so much that I couldn’t listen to more than two songs without discomfort. After installing the filters, the harshness disappeared, restoring the original, well-balanced sound signature. The soundstage became noticeably wider, bass felt more impactful with improved reverb, and overall clarity was enhanced. These filters not only fixed the sharp treble issue but elevated the overall listening experience. If you're facing similar issues, this is a simple and effective upgrade. Highly recommended for Chu II owners.

Gets clogged easily
My older filters got dirty because of earwax and the sound was affected. I was surprised by how easy it was to just remove the mesh at the front and replace the filter. The provided tweezers helped to remove and seat the fitler properly. Good experience.

I purchased the chu 2 a while ago but one of the channels started losing details and volume, also because the nozzle of the chu 2 oxidised, so I ordered this , I was worried because I could not find in any other website and here I found them , I was very happy also it was cheap just 200 for 3 pairs , in terms of longevity it's worth the cash , it also comes in a tweser which either way useful
