FEATURES NORATEL TOROIDAL HIGH-PERFORMANCE TRANSFORMER FROM NORWAY FUSED WITH DUAL INDEPENDENT POWER SUPPLY AND OPA1611 FOR AMPLIFICATION

Shanling EM7 features Noratel toroidal high-performance transformer from Norway. It is a toroidal transformer that has higher inrush currents when compared to conventional EI transformers. EI-transformer is a traditional transformer. Toroidal transformers are smaller and lighter than conventional EI transformers. The toroidal transformer has low magnetic stray fields emission levels, high efficiency / low losses, and easy assembly making them ideal in audio/video systems. The Noratel Toroidal Transformer High-Performance Transformer from Norway, along with two high-current voltage regulator chips and four premium 6800 uF/35V capacitors, was incorporated by Shanling engineers while keeping these ideas in mind. These components provide clean power for the DAC and balanced amplifier of the EM7. The Shanling EM7 has Dual Independent Power to prevent unwanted interferences between the Streamer and the High-End Audio circuit. The power supply is separated, with the Android component using a separate switching power source. The electrical components in the circuitry don't make any noise thanks to this power supply architecture. The result is super clean and organic power output. Shanling has an In-House Developed I/V Stage, a highly optimised I/V conversion stage based on TI OPA1611, helping the ES9038Pro to reach its ultimate performance, retaining all the energy and sound characteristics of this DAC.

On the Streamer side, the EM7 hosts Shanling's bespoke operating system based on Android 10. It gives you access to a range of streaming services, local playback from MicroSD card or USB drives, DLNA, Airplay, NAS and even simple Bluetooth streaming. They are all put through the Android Global Lossless Output (AGLO) technology, which guarantees the best audio quality from the Android system. EM7 also switches to a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 CPU, making for a significantly swifter system. Running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core CPU, providing more computing power than any Hi-Fi Streamer would need. Hi-Fi grade single crystal copper wires connect every component of the EM7's circuitry. KDS Crystal Oscillators & 3rd Generation FPGA, and Two Japanese KDS active crystal oscillators assure high precision of the digital signal transmission. An updated in-house algorithm effectively reduces jitter for an overall cleaner and more accurate sound reproduction. Thin Film resistors with 0.01% accuracy and stability, these high-precision film resistors represent a part of EM7's design. Panasonic Capacitors with special tantalum-polymer capacitors are highly accurate and less sensitive to temperature fluctuations which keeps the EM7 operating for longer hours without heating. Shanling's audio engineers created the CPAF Low Pass Filtering, CPAF - Constant Phase in All Frequencies technology employing two more TI OPA2211 components. Eight BD139 and BD140 transistors and four TI OPA2211 pieces make up a four-way balanced headphone amplifier running in Shanling's tried-and-true OP+BUF topology, enhancing their amplifiers' capabilities to a new level.
