ddHiFi Introduces the BC44Gold: A 4.4mm Balanced Audio Cable With OCC Silver Signal Conductors and Red Sandalwood Plug Housing.

ddHiFi introduces the BC44Gold, a 4.4mm balanced audio interconnect cable featuring a symmetrical double-strand 2+2+1 conductor structure with high-purity OCC silver signal wires, high-purity OCC copper return ground, and a silver-plated OFC shield layer for clean, interference-free balanced signal transmission. A composite plug housing combining high-density small-leaf red sandalwood with aluminum alloy fittings, a floating shield design to eliminate ground interference, and two length options of 10cm and 15cm make the BC44Gold an ideal short interconnect for stacking portable audio setups.

Symmetrical Double-Strand 2+2+1 Conductor Structure With OCC Silver Signal Wires

ddHiFi BC44Gold features a 2+2+1 conductor structure where signal wires and loop ground wires are constructed from distinct materials, each consisting of two twisted conductor sets, with an outer cross shielding mesh on the outermost layer. The symmetrical double-strand design delivers excellent flexibility during bending, minimises internal wire stress, and suppresses electromagnetic interference through its parallel twisted architecture for stable, clean balanced signal transmission.

Red Sandalwood & Aluminum Alloy Composite Plug Housing

ddHiFi BC44Gold features a plug housing that combines high-density small-leaf red sandalwood with aluminum alloy fittings, two materials widely respected in high-fidelity audio systems for their acoustic and structural properties. The sandalwood's inherent damping property absorbs tiny vibrations generated by current conduction and air sound pressure, stabilising signal transmission and minimising micro-distortion and phase shift at the connection point.

Floating Shield Design For Ground Interference Elimination

ddHiFi BC44Gold adopts an inner core plus outer shielding mesh structure, with a main core of two strands each containing four conductor groups to transmit positive and negative signals for the left and right channels independently. The shielding mesh is isolated from the 4.4mm plug shell and floats at both ends to eliminate ground interference between certain audio devices, keeping the signal path clean without introducing grounding conflicts.

NOTE: This cable will not work with headphone amplifiers that require grounded interconnect cables in specific operating modes. You may hear audible noise when using it with the Lotoo EA4 headphone amplifier while its ILA function is active. Please refer to your headphone amplifier's user manual to confirm its grounding cable requirements.

10cm & 15cm Length Options For Stacked Audio Setups

ddHiFi BC44Gold is available in 10cm and 15cm lengths to accommodate the varying port positions and heights of different headphone amplifiers used in stacked portable audio setups. The 10cm version suits closely positioned ports in compact stacks, while the 15cm version provides the extra reach needed for larger devices, ensuring a tidy, cable-management-friendly connection without excess slack.
