The Fiio JD1 IEM with the Type-C cable works well and delivers a good overall experience. I had to purchase this replacement because my previous cable stopped working and was not very durable. So far, this one feels reliable, and I hope it lasts longer so I won’t have to replace my IEMs again just because of cable issues.
Cable is good, fits perfectly, i am using this cable with Planar driver iem also, it is well tuned to drive my CCA PLA 13. Cable is clean and multiple profiles available on tbis cable like Bass boost, treble boost, Harmonic reference and Vocal boost along with Default mode. Love this cable for using with multiple iem.
My old c-type version had some issues (such as pausing the song or increasing/decreasing volume automatically). So anyone who had bought c-type earlier and having any issues, go with the proprietary version as it fits perfectly. 4 star because i feel the cable which came along with iem were much thicker and sturdier. This however feels lighter but is good for long listening hours.

Hearing something new in a song you have heard a thousand times is pure magic.
The original type-cable that I had bought with the IEMs split in the middle and then cracked at the type c end, and sadly that is not covered in warranty. This one (3.5mm) feels more flexible. The surprising thing is that with this cable the IEMs feel considerably louder, with type-c I had to stay at 70% volume most of the time, with this I hardly go beyond 50%. Even though the equalizer modes on type-c QDC are good, I hardly used them for daily use, so I will recommend 3.5 mm to anyone for daily use, if your phone/ laptop has a 3.5mm jack. It is just cheaper and better.

its okay its working.
The volume buttons and the play/pause buttons don’t work. The proprietary type cable has a gap when connected to the IEM overall not great

Just to clarify, those 5 different sound modes are actually exclusive to the Type-C version of the cable, rather than the 3.5mm one.

I am so mesmerised when i plugged that 3.5 mm cable of fiio jd 1 iem to connect my mobile for listening music.The cable quality is very good at this price range and delivered excellent sound quality which i didn't expect.it is absolutely like a party mood on in my head.its raw sound delivers puncy bass and sparkling high details with crystal clear voice and superb detail but i miss that tuning parts in this cable which was already given in type c cableof this IEM.Apart from that i think the cable is perfect for those music lovers who loved dj music and soft rock version of music.thanks again headphone zone to deliver this beautiful product and very very thanks to raghav somani (CEO,Founder of headphone zone).

I had Fiio JD1 type c, wanted 3.5mm cable. Got confused with proprietary and 2 pin QDC cable. Explanation was not clear enough. Mine works but as i ordered proprietary cable the cable is not going 100% inside IEM pin.
Button irritates.we press play pause button songs forwarded continuously and press volume up or down button song paused.when incoming call we press middle button it cuts the call ..when cable shakes songs changed automatically..very disappointed
