iBasso Introduces The AMP19 – A Dual-Mode Nutube & Super Class A Amp Card For The DX340

iBasso presents the AMP19, a swappable amp card for the DX340 with a Nutube 6P1 triode vacuum tube and a discrete Super Class A circuit, giving you two distinct sound signatures. In Tube mode, the Nutube, developed jointly by Korg and Noritake, works as a preamp tube that adds harmonic richness for a warm, relaxed and musical sound. In Super Class A mode, a discrete design with 20 dual transistors delivers up to 2A of current for a fuller, more dynamic sound with strong control. Each Nutube is tested on an Audio Precision APx555 and manually matched using four multi-turn potentiometers. The tubes are suspended in PORON material to absorb shock and reduce microphonic noise. A 100-step JRC analog volume control keeps the DAC signal free from digital attenuation. When connected to external 12V DC power, the AMP19 delivers up to 2150mW+2150mW @ 32Ω to drive even demanding headphones with ease.
