Going by the celestial looks , impeccable performance , respect for the priceband peer performers will have a tough time to beat this beast. Absolutely stunning with mesmerizing performance the standard is being hauled too high by Ibasso with each release of Audio wonders. All praise , full of accollades which cannot be bound by matching adjectives. Whatever praise is being showered on DX 260 is simply not enough.

I was excited to try this DAP since 45days and as soon as I got it in my hands started to test it. First as an audiophile I burn this DAP 20 hrs with 4 breaks. Then I started to listen the tracks I got ( Nearly 4000 flac,alac, 50 dsd 256 files) OMG, this DAP sounds Fantastic. For me I hope the end game DAP. Will try to explain in detail.
As you all audiophiles know the specifications I don’t want to go in to that but would like to mention few important things, the screen resolution (1080p) is very good, colours are bright, battery life is decent, OS is blazing fast. Scrolling wheel and volume buttons are a heck😩.
Build Quality: This DAP is built like a tank in a compact chassis. I am very happy with the size. It’s both colours black and silver looks beautiful.
Sound: I was amazed by its sound quality, it’s Analytical, musical and tuned to act neutral.
a). Bass: Too good, at right amount with punch and meaningful.
b). Treble: At Right amount and not fatigue.
c). Mids: mids are natural and highlighted when you opt for Nos filter
d). Highs: A little elevated but trust me in a good way.
e). Upper mids and upper highs are fantastic.
f). Instrument separation is amazing
g). Image: Very good imaging again it depends on person to person, Ear to Ear.
h). Vocals both male and female 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I). Soundstage: Excellent Sound stage, Good width and depth depends upon the settings (2FIR or 4FIR, Gain and Filter)you opt for.

I have been using this device for last two weeks... and I am in love with it. I have never heard a dap performing this good for the price.
Yes ofcourse for few songs the bass sound muddy, sometime mids are really forward but still I love the dap for its battery backup and Sonic capacity .
Very handy comfortable, good user interface and wonderful effective parametric equaliser makes it the best option for the particular price range.
Now if I talk about battery replacement then for us it is no use because battery is not available here in india..not even hpz can help you with that .

I was earlier confused a bit on which DAC to buy under 1 lac. It was a toss up between Fiio M23 and Shanling M6 ultra, then I saw few YT videos on iBasso x260. Finally took the plunge, HZ team shipped it super fast and I recieved it in my hands.
As my first DAP, this thing is great, run completely vanilla android and display is big and clear for what its worth.
My only disappointment from this DAP is that it does not come with a system wide EQ built in, so had to download wavelet app to get EQ which is fine, I also changed the launcher Niagra for smoother feel and operations. Inserted a Sandisk Extreme 1TB card which it happily accepted and my music library is now expanding.
The two things I dont like
1. Silicone cover is very low quality for a DAP at this price point in my opinion, ordered the black leather case from etsy.
2. The plastic screen protectors are very hard to put and a joke, dont bother although you will get 3 pcs. Ordered a glass screen protector from DesertCart website for this.
Apart from this niggle one prominent plus/advantage this has over the Fiio M23 is, that Fiio M23 needs additional power supply to increase its power, while DX260 can go on full power without any additional power support. This made this DAP a clear winner.
I am using this DAP with HBB Decue and have ordered Aful Explorer and Dunu Davinci IEMs which are shipped, very excited to try those out on this capable and easy to use dap.
