The KZ ZEX Pro features a self-developed high-performance hybrid driver setup. Encasing a 6.8mm electrostatic driver, one 10mm dual magnetic circuit dynamic driver and one 30095 high frequency balanced armature driver - that delivers a vivid stereo image. First thing that I noticed is that the build quality is amazing for the price.
Right out of the box i switched to a Fiio 4.4 cable I had in spare and I was blown away with the bass and overall resolution of these IEMs.
The bass is tight and controlled, not overpowering, overall a fun sounding IEM with good build quality.

The left ear iem suddenly started dying in less than a week of purchase, and i can't seem to find the method to initiate refund. 2500rs pretty much wasted

Holy 🤯 smokes.... It's just a bliss in my ears.... Though I have purchased the unboxed one but it's still completely new.... I dunno about all the technical jargons of EST BA DD drivers but EDM to RABINDRASANGEET all sounds impeccably detailed.... It's a little bassy but I use wavelet pro on my phone thus the bass can be easily compensated by auto eq.... Even without the 3rd party equalizers the songs are crisp and clean and not muddy.... It's unbelievable that this small thing can do so much.... As they say size doesn't matter 😉 😉.... Respect but midtones could've been more crispier.... Raghav and your team thanxx bro.... I upgraded from RHA MA390 UNIVERSAL which I purchased 5 yrs back from headphone zone and after 5 long years it bid farewell to me.... It's was a bittersweet experience in the end cuz KZ became my ears new bestie....
