The Meze - 12 Classics are really amazing having a crystal clear sound. My previous headset (beyerdynamic) had a bit more bass sound but I think once these are burnt in a bit more they will be as good, if not better. Thanks to Headphone Zone for the good experience.
Silicon tips for those who want bass, Double Flange for those who want precision & don't like bass spills in to mids, Comply foam for those who don't want to live happily with these as they are too dark. Signature is quiet close to Meze 99 Classic but in an enclosed set up. I can say it's audiophile grade stuff which hits way above it's price point. I think best under 8k and nothing can beat these using correct recordings to listen with correct DAC + AMP combo means they are not forgiving for lower bitrate MP3s..but 320 & above should give you a taste of these...DSD could knock you off considering 6K only...Must Buy!!

Packaging and build is good.
Headphone is Bass and mid focused, less details in other side of spectrum
No micro details compare to 1more Quad Drive or AKG N20
Overall good listening experience for 5K its worth if you like warm signature nothing more.

The Meze 12 classics are some of the best earphones you can buy at the price point. A lot of reviews said they sounded like the 99 classics which is my personal favourite. So I decided to go for them and they did not disappoint.
Everything just sounds natural. Clarity in the midrange is just too good. There was something about the bass in the 99 classics that made the sound enjoyable. Thankfully the 12 classics retains the sound signature though the bass on the 99 classics was slightly looser. Voices are clear and instrument separation is good. The build quality and comfort are top notch.
Crisp clear sound thanks to Mr Raghav for suggesting MEZE 12. Only cons is less bass. Not for bass lovers
I have purchased this after seeing the new version, the Meze 12 Classics V2, on the Meze official website. I could not believe that Headphonezone made this available in India so quickly! Special thanks to team Hadphonezone for that!
Now, here are my observations of the Classics V2:
1. Build quality is excellent; it has braided (possibly Kevlar) cable from top to bottom.
2. Meze bundled a nifty and pocketable case in the packaging; it is rare value addition in these times.
3. The wood-and-metal finish of the buds, along with the Meze logo printed sideways, looks outstanding! (elegant and stylish).
4. The sound is as expected from Meze: superb! Simply superb! The sound-signature epitomizes the "balanced" definition, which means it has slightly recessed mids and slightly pumped-up bass and treble; sub-bass is present but nuanced; treble does not leak into mids or gets unnecessarily bright.
5. It has Romanian design and Chinese craftsmanship; so, naturally, it punches way above its price-tag!
This is my first ever Meze product. And I can see( or hear!) why Meze is so popular worldwide! Thanks to Headphonezone for bringing this to India and delivering the product on time. Also, those playlist-cards are a nice touch!
