S.M.S.L A300 adopts a high-power power amplification chip from Infineon, a well-known amplification chip manufacturer from Germany. It enables the device to provide powerful amplification to the audio signal while keeping the distortion values low and the background clean. German Infineon's new digital high-power amplifier chip has higher quality, high efficiency, and low energy consumption. The S.M.S.L A300 can also be bridged (BTL) into a single-channel amplifier with a higher power to drive speakers. A bridge-tied load (BTL), also known as bridged transformerless and bridged mono, is an output configuration for audio amplifiers, a form of impedance bridging used mainly in professional applications. The two channels of a stereo amplifier are fed the same monaural audio signal, with one channel's electrical polarity reversed. The S.M.S.L A300 can be bridged into a single-channel amplifier with a higher power to drive speakers.

The NJW1194 digital volume control chip from NJRC, a well-known Japanese company, has been highlighted by S.M.S.L. The NJW1194 is a 2-channel electronic volume with4-in a 1-out stereo audio selector and Tone Control. The NJW1194 enables low distortion characteristics with a resistance ladder circuit. The output volume may be accurately adjusted and controlled with NJW1194 in its circuitry. This design configuration allows you to pair speaker systems with the A300 that require low or high power. With NJW1194, you have access to; precise volume control adjustment with ultra-low distortion.

Best budget Amplifier

A300 is one of the best budget amplifier you can get. It is very clean and powerful class D amplifier. Class D amplifiers are not a joke anymore. You can buy 2 and use it in bridge mode as monoblocks.

It has excellent build quality. Sound quality through Bluetooth and USB is not so good compared to the RCA. Only disadvantage I see is the blue led light. They should have given option to switch off the led light. Other than that extremely happy with this product.
