Succeeds in it's primary objective i.e. wireless capability via Bluetooth DAC while eliminating BT audio penalty via boosting compressed audio packets using the Amp stage.
Is it perfect? No, it could have better battery capacity/retention and/or wired dac functionality but that's besides the main point, which it meets while matching or exceeding most inbuilt phone dacs. Enable LDAC from the BT connection page.
It took 1 day for only establishing BT pairing with my Realme GT6T running on Android 14. During BT pairing popup is showing for pairing code. I tried with 0000 and 1234 but unable to connect. After trying about 50 times I was able to pair. But when I tap on FIIIO BTR11 paired device only showing Connecting.... While in device blue and red light is showing simultaneously. Then I turned off Fiio. Again turned on and same time tapped on FIIO icon to connect. Still unable to connect. Have I done mistake by choosing this?

This tiny little Bluetooth receiver does what is expected of it and does it well. At a stroke, all Iems, and wired headphones are connected to the source through ldac and Linux for its part does it's bit in transmitting from pipe wire. The sound from the btr11 is clear and detailed and distortion free, while allowing the freedom from wires - almost.
We are so happy these helped you hear your music in a whole new way.
This compact bluetooth dac supports advanced bluetooth 5.3, works well with Android and iOS, and pairs quite well with my Dita Activo Q1 IEM. I haven't noted any background noise as reported by some reviews, and the overall sound is great, as far as I can tell. Battery life is also excellent.

The audio quality is good for the price. Clip and Bluetooth provides convenience. The cons, for me and in my opinion are:
1. The app access is gimmicky. No option there apart from firmware update.
2. The model is not stable and reliable. It often keeps unparing and I have to pair it again every few days on my Iphone. Also used it with my macbook air m2 and face same problem.
Would not recommend to folks. Better to skip this entry level to a better product which would be priced more but would provide better value for money and peace of mind.

I am using tanchim Ultima zero with this amp. Sound Bias no big change, yeah it's louder with amp ,
Previously, I was using astell & kerin xb10 that's sounds little bit more clean and better bass .with poor battery life. (2to3 hours only)
I wish it was as refined as xb10, Anyway it's Gud amp.

Hearing something new in a song you have heard a thousand times is pure magic.
I am not an audiophile or anything.... I just like good quality sound. I checked out the Sony XM6 and the Sony ULT at the store, and while the sound quality was good, I thought they were both not loud enough. They were acceptable with normal sounding songs, but not acceptable, at all, on some very quiet songs that needed extra amplification. They would also not have been enough for the rare occasions when I want to listen to some dance music at unhealthy volume levels for a few minutes.
My wired Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones go extra-loud the way I like. They go so loud, I get worried about hearing damage after 5 seconds of listening. I thought if I could get the Bluetooth version of the same headphones, I could get similar levels of high volume.
So, I got the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2. Unfortunately, over Bluetooth, they get only half as loud. But these headphones have a wired mode. These same headphones get painfully loud over the 3.5 mm connection, but over Bluetooth, they are half as loud.
I wanted the full loudness over Bluetooth. So my idea was to get this FiiO device. I attach the FiiO to the headphones with the provided clip, connect it to the headphones with a 6-inch 3.5 mm wire, and establish a Bluetooth connection with my phone. This way, I hoped to get the full loudness of a wired connection, but also the convenience of Bluetooth.
I wasn't sure it would work, but it does work. This FiiO device is able to drive the headphones to ungodly levels. The headphones get as loud when connected to the FiiO as they do when connected directly to the phone with a 3.5 mm cable. It depends on the phone... when I connect the FiiO to the Bluetooth on an iPhone, the volume is significantly higher. The Bluetooth on a Redmi phone is slightly less loud.
Overall this FiiO expermiment has been super successful. I made my Bluetooth headphones extra loud.

Have been using it with my juzear defiant, it does produce about 10-15% more treble sounds than when I connect with macbook audio jack or audiocular d07, not a deal braker as it makes up for it by giving you multi point connection(2 devices), auto switch to highest bt codec available, very good battery back up as described. At this cost it offers best value cant complain much.
