This is the best headphone in my opinion. Cheap enough to rough use it and sound good. Comfort is also a plus point for me. I highly recommend this set if u wanna get into headphones that sounds decent without breaking the bank.
This is the most easily-recommendable audio thing I’ve reviewed in a very long time. It’s a great starter open-back headphone with sound quality that I’d find good.
If you gravitate towards great midrange, and a healthy and open sound stage, this will be a great option for you. It manages to keep the vocals clear while not taking too much away from the highs or the lows.
The KPH30i are less distinctively and divisively styled than the 1984 designed Porta Pros. The cable and comfort are (perhaps) an upgrade. The KPH30i sound almost as good to my ears.

The cushion gets hot and uncomfortable in this summer. Beautiful sound profile though. I am a little disappointed at you . Last time I have bought the salnotes zero and the other time I have bought a DAC both of the times there were a few gifts and notes. Like the earphone couch and the music cards. However there was nothing with this order. I would have been happier had you send anything with the order. Anyways best of the luck in your venture.
I was not expecting much but man did it surprise me this sound quality at this price point its musical been enjoying it and one thing due to on ear it get bit uncomfortable after long listening session. Overall im loving it

Probably the best sound experience one can get from a headphone this cheap. Staging is amazing. Only downside for me is that it is a little bass heavy which can drown out vocals and the overall mid range.
Amazing Sound Stage
I recently bought the Koss KPH30i and overall I’m very satisfied — for the price, these headphones punch well above their weight. The sound is smooth, warm, and surprisingly “open” for on-ear cans: bass is present and punchy (though not earth-shaking in the deepest sub-bass), mids are natural and vocals come through clearly, and the treble stays polite and non-fatiguing.
Comfort and build are another strong point: the KPH30i are very light, and the suspension headband distributes weight nicely, so I can wear them for hours without much fatigue.
there are trade-offs: these are open-back on-ear headphones, so isolation is minimal and sound leaks — they’re not ideal in noisy/commuter environments or when you want privacy.Also, build quality feels a bit fragile: there are reports of headband breakage if treated roughly, so I’d advise handling with care.
Overall: if you want a budget-friendly pair that sounds fun, engaging, and good for relaxed listening (music, podcasts, audiobooks at home or in quiet places), KPH30i is hard to beat for the price. Just don’t expect studio-grade detail or heavy isolation — and treat them gently.
I bought the clear ones and they look really nice. Build is good. I thought they would be like regular PC headphones for calls, I wasn't expecting a lot music from them. But i am surprised. They sound great. Sound is nicely balanced with decent bass. Mic also works fine. Good packaging from headphoneZone. Worth the buy.
In my review I can see that that the sound graph you plotted in your website is quite wrong also the mic is not also working you said balance sound signature but I found it too bassy it's an open back but the trebles and the mids weren't free also because of over bass, the high frequency sounds gurgled around like "rrrrrrrrr" also buy kinda distorted please update the sound graph as it may create a problem for you guys thank you as an old customer of yours I respect you members of HZn🫶🏻

Happy to have it. Nice product. Best for beginners open back. But my delevery experience is poor. After calling to dilivery partner. I finally get my product after 10 days. I have mailed you people but respect from you is not that good. I know it is not your fault. Dilivery partner don't have any employee to deliver me my parcel at thak moment. At atleast give me a update through mail. I emailed you people 2 times. But you people send me same email 2 times. Although love to buy form you people. Hope this problem in my pincode will resolve soon.

The Koss KPH30i's Clear variant is unique to other KPH30i. Clear variant not only looks different with its transparent housing but also sounds significantly different from the other colour variants primarily due to the absence of foam on the internals. Straight out of the box, the KPH30i Clear sounds fantastic!
Looks and comfort: I really adore the transparent looks of the Clear. The clamping force does not feel too much to me and I've been using it for hours, however if you wear glasses, the clamping force may create a hotspot where the frame rests on your ears and may cause some discomfort.
Comparison to KSC75: The Koss KPH30i compared to the KSC75 sounds fuller thanks to elevated and better extended bass. Mids however are a tie between the two where both sound natural enough, however I still prefer the air and clarity KSC75 provides. An analogy I can make is that the KSC75 sounds like a desktop speaker but KPH30i sounds like a car speaker, mainly because of bass differences. Bit of nit-picking of KPH30i is that the bass (including but less pronounced on Clears) somewhat bleed into mids making the often mentioned "veiled" sound of KPH30i. This is much less prominent on the KSC75 but the trait is present which probably goes unnoticed because of less overall quantity of bass on the KSC75.
Gaming: The KPH30i's imaging is really a standout factor compared to KSC75 I've noticed, making it easier to pinpoint the direction of footsteps and other cues. However, both lack giving a sense of near or far spatial positioning. Overall for gaming, I slightly prefer KPH30i Clear for competitive and greatly prefer KPH30i Clear for immersive gaming experience.
Personally, with EQ to clean up the bass, the KPH30i provides the most complete audio package in Koss trifecta, regardless of KPH30i variants. I also plan to mod these in near future with different pads to squeeze more out of these budget demons.
Having not tried any non-clear KPH30i variant, I can't give a definitive answer on what differs between them sonically. But reportedly, various users and reviewers said there is less bass on the Clears. There are very few frequency response measurements of the Clear variant available, so if HPZ would like to measure and publish their KPH30i's Clear measurements, it would be a huge help to the community!

All the hype related to exceptional sound quality at an affordable price point appears true. However, i am not sold on the comfort part yet. They are indeed very light weight and you expect minimal clamping force. But, somehow, possibly due to over ear design, the comfort is not as good as the sound. And since the headband is plastic, one does not expect the comfort to improve over repeated use. 1 star less than 5, due to this challenge from my side.
