Since it was written on the player it is a high resolution player, I have downloaded .m4a format audio to play offline but it didn't work because the file which is downloaded is .m4a but it is some EC-3 codex it seems. I was lost that time. I suggest since we are not professional in knowing audio format, kindly suggest which format does this player support. If u can provide the some website where we can get or download high resolution audio files for offline play that helps us. But is good.....

Been using this as a little dedicated music player and it's surprisingly capable for the size — genuinely pocket-swallowing tiny, but doesn't feel cheap. Build quality is solid, menu is simple to navigate, and battery life has held up well through daily use. Also love the retro vibe of it, big Persona series fan here so this scratches that nostalgic itch.
Sound is clean and safe — nothing that'll wow you, but nothing offensive either. Good for casual listening, treble stays smooth without getting harsh. Just wish it had a 4.4mm balanced output, only comes with the single jack.
microSD support is handy for keeping a local library instead of relying on streaming. For the price, it's a solid little grab-and-go player.

Storage is missing

Not quite sure what is wrong with the music setting, particularly the Equaliser. After enabling it, “ file not supported “ error is displayed even after the three firmware updates so far. Leaving me unable to change equaliser settings. Defaulting brings back the function.

I bought this cuz I couldn’t find any alternatives to Makoto’s Walkman in p3r. It’s a simple to use interface and forget features. I initially was skeptical about not having BT but then you remember who this is for… I think this product is positioned towards a person who wants to decouple what their phone does and go back to the 2000s era where tech was actually fun and not just trying to be mass appealing and boring. This is one such thing where you know what it’s for, listening to music and looking cool while doing it. I’m not an audiophile and I think this isn’t meant for audiophiles the echo mini is definitely better for that regardless the audio quality is crystal clear like day and night my phone could never but that still isn’t this things selling point. It’s portability, escaping the huge tech companies tying you down and just looks dang cool and awesome(much better than a gimmicky cassette player if you know what I mean).
P.S I wanted some IP water resistance like the Sports Walkmans Sony had as it’s heavily inspired by it but as of now it’s fine I’ll just stuff it in my pocket!
