Highly Efficient Dual Dynamic Driver In-Ear Monitor
Truthear, in collaboration with Crinacle, presents us with the most anticipated IEM of the year, the ZERO: RED. It is a dual dynamic driver IEM which has seen an improvement to its predecessor, the ZERO. Crincale and Truthear had been working on this project red to bring us an IEM that performs exceptionally well due to its phenomenal tuning.
The Truthear ZERO: RED has a dual dynamic driver configuration, a mature internal magnetic circuit structure, and a flexible polyurethane suspension composite LCP liquid crystal dome diaphragm. Its internal structure is entirely distinct from that of ZERO, allowing RED to provide better objective indicators while still meeting R&D requirements. It adopts a dual polyurethane suspension composite liquid-crystal dome diaphragm N52 Rubidium magnet double-cavity internal magnetic circuit dynamic driver.
The Truthear ZERO: RED has a dual dynamic driver configuration, a mature internal magnetic circuit structure, and a flexible polyurethane suspension composite LCP liquid crystal dome diaphragm. Its internal structure is entirely distinct from that of ZERO, allowing RED to provide better objective indicators while still meeting R&D requirements. The 7.8mm dynamic driver responsible for mids and treble uses a specially adjusted ultra-fine CCAW voice coil, which keeps the vibration system lightweight and ensures the resonance frequency is closer to the target curve and a smoother response. This new system combines the same concept of frequency division with a completely different dynamic driver. The 10mm dynamic driver, which is in charge of the bass, precisely modifies the voice coil count to meet the requirements of the new frequency division circuit. At the same time, the diaphragm structure is modified, which significantly improves objective measurements like nonlinear distortion and results in better bass response.
A hybrid double-frequency division utilises high-precision DLP-3D printing technology. The acoustic nozzle structure has filtering capabilities and an accurately calculated RC frequency division. This technology allows the two dynamic drivers to operate separately and brings the design goal of objective indicators closer to realisation. Another objective factor of multi-driver earphones is the phase. The full-frequency phase of ZERO: RED is highly consistent, and no convergence issue occurs in multi-driver earphones, eliminating the unnatural listening experience caused by phase distortion.
The Truthear ZERO: RED has excellent objective indicators. Truthear provided the R&D target for ZERO: RED based on the original excellent objective index of ZERO. The nonlinear distortion of ZERO: RED is further optimised at higher sound pressure levels (>94dB), and its frequency response target curve has bass amplitude response characteristics similar to the preference curve. In contrast, the target curve of Crinacle IEF_Neutral is used in the frequency band above 1000Hz. In comparison to ZERO, ZERO: RED is relatively less dynamic but still adheres to the characteristics of HRTF, making ZERO: RED very suitable for extended listening without becoming tiresome. These characteristics provide the punchiest bass without affecting the sound of higher-frequency bands. Sonically, the treble of ZERO: RED is highly resolving, dispatching a warm, natural and pleasing performance.
HeyGears' DLP 3D printing cavity, combined with its medical-grade high-transparency resin and internal colouring process, guarantees printing accuracy and efficiency. It realises the delicate acoustic nozzle structure that is challenging through conventional engineering. The cavity is also lightweight and made of skin-friendly and reliable materials.
Truthear has incorporated optimised processing technology that pursues excellent objective measurements. It also attaches great importance to the optimisation and improvement of processing technology. The cavity of ZERO: RED is still a sandwich-like structure front cavity, decorative panel, and a few drops of glue to fill the seams. It directly realises the natural smooth radian using 3D printing technology, supplemented by a few drops of glue on the seams. It combines hand-made polishing and automatic gloss painting, offering an exquisite faceplate and ensuring a durable and reliable structure.

3.5mm Termination
It comes with standard 3.5mm termination. The advantage of 3.5mm termination is you can pair these with a portable DAC & Amp to take the performance of these in-ear monitors to the next level.
Sunken 2-Pin Connectors
Truthear ZERO: RED comes with 0.78mm 2-Pin interfaces (the cavity is a sunken 0.78 2Pin female socket), expanding the possibilities by changing the cable and leaving room for upgradability. It can be paired with a Balanced cable or a Bluetooth adapter if you ever wish to go wireless.
Copper-Plated Silver Cable
The cable for the ZERO: RED has four strands of high-quality copper and silver plating with a thicker diameter of a single strand. A copper and silver-plated cable is one in which the conductor or core has a layer of silver applied to it. Typically, this plating improves conductivity, lessens signal loss or interference, and improves audio quality in general.
Impedance Adapter
It comes with a 10 Ohms impedance adapter which increases the bass by 3dB with a lower mid-range resolution with a substantial bass boost.
The first time I heard it, I couldnt believe my ears. The Project Red, as so many of us in the community have known for a while, is simply the best sounding IEM by a mile. Crinacle has smashed this one out of the park. And Truthear has delivered faithfully.

I think the ZERO and ZERO:RED are good options for those who want either flavor of tuning. I’m happy to say the Turthear ZERO:RED is an easy recommendation!
The ZERO: RED are a no-brainer purchase for anyone looking for an affordable neutral pair of IEMs. While not perfect in every way, they are superb where it really counts - the tonal balance.
In conclusion, the Truthear x Crinacle Zero Red offers a mid-centric sound signature with a sub-bass boost. It has good mids and its vocals are especially convincing
If comfort with the larger nozzle is not an issue, the quality of its bass, leveled treble, and the included 10 Ω impedance adapter make it an exceptional value.
The Truthear x Crinacle Zero Red, an upgrade of the original 2022 Zero, is certainly a decent iem that is worth its asking price. But, other than that it has been carefully curated/marketed/hyped and is well accessorized.
The soundstage is on the wider side for an IEM not using a multi-balanced armature arrangement, but instrument separation is fairly average, as is imaging.

The much-awaited ZERO: RED impresses and dazzles you with its design. If you own the OG ZERO and looking to upgrade, then these are the way to go. It has enormous capabilities and shines through the entire frequency range over and above the signature bass response.
These are one pair of IEMs that I can't get over. It is incredible and makes me enjoy music to the fullest. Its USP is the dual dynamic drivers, with one acting as a sub-woofer. It is simply an unforgettable masterpiece of musicality and technical brilliance.
Khan is an IEM that could be a hit or miss for some. The reason behind its success is its robust bass response. The genres that it excels in are hip-hop, rap, and EDM. If you are a bass head then these IEMs are sure to please you in every respect.

the sound quality of the "TruthHere Clinical Zero Red" iem is superb, especially with clear mids. However, the fitting issue for those with smaller ear canals is worth noting, as it could affect comfort and overall usability.

I tried these out of curiosity, and am not a big audiophile and these sound much better than my AirPods. They have significantly more detail, and I have seen some people say that the bass is low, but it feels about the same in terms of loudness, and in fact the bass has a level of clarity and separation in the sense that I can make out sounds that follow the bass significantly clearly ( and this comes at no cost of clarity to the bass ).
I am able to hear subtle details in songs that I have enjoyed for a long time and while subtle, these details and the level of realism in the sound is very rewarding.
On to the things specific to my refurbished device, there are some *very* noticeable scratches on the left bud. Other than that, everything was good. Came with the carry case, all of the silicon and foam buds, the impedance adapter, and the cables.
