Truthear ZERO: RED comes with 0.78mm 2-Pin interfaces (the cavity is a sunken 0.78 2Pin female socket), expanding the possibilities by changing the cable and leaving room for upgradability. It can be paired with a Balanced cable or a Bluetooth adapter if you ever wish to go wireless.
Copper-Plated Silver Cable
The cable for the ZERO: RED has four strands of high-quality copper and silver plating with a thicker diameter of a single strand. A copper and silver-plated cable is one in which the conductor or core has a layer of silver applied to it. Typically, this plating improves conductivity, lessens signal loss or interference, and improves audio quality in general.
Impedance Adapter
It comes with a 10 Ohms impedance adapter which increases the bass by 3dB with a lower mid-range resolution with a substantial bass boost.

The first time I heard it, I couldnt believe my ears. The Project Red, as so many of us in the community have known for a while, is simply the best sounding IEM by a mile. Crinacle has smashed this one out of the park. And Truthear has delivered faithfully.
I think the ZERO and ZERO:RED are good options for those who want either flavor of tuning. I’m happy to say the Turthear ZERO:RED is an easy recommendation!
The ZERO: RED are a no-brainer purchase for anyone looking for an affordable neutral pair of IEMs. While not perfect in every way, they are superb where it really counts - the tonal balance.
In conclusion, the Truthear x Crinacle Zero Red offers a mid-centric sound signature with a sub-bass boost. It has good mids and its vocals are especially convincing
If comfort with the larger nozzle is not an issue, the quality of its bass, leveled treble, and the included 10 Ω impedance adapter make it an exceptional value.
The Truthear x Crinacle Zero Red, an upgrade of the original 2022 Zero, is certainly a decent iem that is worth its asking price. But, other than that it has been carefully curated/marketed/hyped and is well accessorized.
The soundstage is on the wider side for an IEM not using a multi-balanced armature arrangement, but instrument separation is fairly average, as is imaging.
Balanced: A neutral sound that doesn't emphasise on one frequency.
Extra Bass: Lots of low end but tends to overpower mids & highs.

The much-awaited ZERO: RED impresses and dazzles you with its design. If you own the OG ZERO and looking to upgrade, then these are the way to go. It has enormous capabilities and shines through the entire frequency range over and above the signature bass response.
These are one pair of IEMs that I can't get over. It is incredible and makes me enjoy music to the fullest. Its USP is the dual dynamic drivers, with one acting as a sub-woofer. It is simply an unforgettable masterpiece of musicality and technical brilliance.

Superb sub-bass. Vocals are fantastic.
Best pairing with the Azla Sedna Light eartips. Most optimum source gear is the Fiio BTR 7.
Even better synergy than with my Questyle M15.
That sparkle is evident now with the tips and the the BTR 7.
Think of it as a better Final E4000. Better sub-bass, better staging. Better vocals. In fact the tuning is very very inoffensive. Sounds above average with almost any genre.
I check female voice distortion with Lara Fabian's songs. Zero issues.
Not at all a detailed IEM like S12. But better overall balance than IE200.

The volume is so low at regular volumes that these headphones are required to listen to at atleast 75% volume to listen legibily. I had bought this iem hoping to use with my smartphone but you would need least a CPU or Laptop to listen to them in a proper way.
So, I had applied for the return but have not received a response yet.

it is a decent upgrade from general earphones or headphones it's not gonna blow ur mind right off the bat
You might want to try it out before buying cuz of the thick nozzle if u have small ears it's not gonna fit
As a first iem u might wanna look at other cheaper options like Tangsu wan'er, truthear Hola or salnotes zero to figure out what kind of sound signature u like.
I am not particularly a bass-head, however, I do love that low end rumble which doesn't necessarily meddle with other frequencies. This is exactly what Zero:Red delivers. I wouldn't call these the best IEMs out there, but they are worth adding to your portfolio (I have Salnotes Zero, Timeless, FH5S Pro, IE600) and I am sure the listener will appreciate and enjoy that different perspective these will bring to the same playlist. The impedance adapter just adds to the fun.
The only downer is the stock tips (nozzle size too). I am using Salnotes Zero tips on these and it's working well for me. Anyone planning to buy these, please take efforts to find the right tips as the ones provided may not reveal the true potential of the IEMs.
Also, a dongle DAC/Amp would be required to drive them, especially with the impedance adapter. I am currently using them with Shanling M6 Ultra (DAP) and have to use Mid gain. All abovementioned IEMs are loud enough at Low gain.

Before I begin, ill share that please drive them with a portable DAC as i felt they thrive better when they have enough power to drive them. They felt a bit low on volume when driven directly from a phone. Back to the quick review. These are great for thrash metal, doom, and rock in general. Vocals are clean and not washed out. I felt the separation and resolution of the instruments was definitely praise worthy. The shape fits the ears better for me but I felt it was a tad-bit heavy for me. Nonetheless, the performance is top notch along with the overall build quality. Must buy ! I was happy with the added boost adapter but I didn't feel the need as the bass was plenty enough for my tastes.
