the wire are broken from inside , the whole wire is chrome silver but at 2 -3 points i can clearly see the wire broken and visible by reddish colour have already raised a return and complain regarding it
I use a ooopus x op.22 and I replaced the stock cable with this , but the connector pins are literally half the size of the stock cable , which can give less power or interfere with the sound, the stock cables connector pins are longer and get out of the sheilding , but this cable doesn't and it does its job but it's not so satisfying and comfortable as the stock but yes it does increase a bit of sound stage
I got to know about the balanced cable through Headphone Zone and through a Headphone Guru suggestion, I bought the QDC balanced cable to pair with JD1.
It's pairs amazingly with the JD1 and Echo Mini. The sound is great. Even the cable look and design is superb. Thank you Headphone Zone.

Heyy thank you for being patient with me.... I've got the product but I'm unable to use it cuz I don't have a dac which supports 4.4mm. I'm waiting for kiwi ears- Allegro mini to restock at your store 😅
Other than that it fits quite well and the build quality is good tho I'm worried about the cable getting strained at the end of the ear as there is no support like in tangzu waner or moondrop chu 2 cables

I have purchased it for upgrading the my Truthear Hexa with a balanced cable as I wanted to utilise the full potential of my Shanling UA3, which has a balanced output. The quality of the product is quite lightweight, lighter than the stock cable which comes with the Hexa, and it felt more supple, but well put togather. It has the ear notch which comfortably sits around the ear with the IEM.
Coming to the main part, the sound,which I am happy to say that it's amazing. The sound has opened up to noticeable extent, instrument separation is much more noticeable, and the finest of the finer nuances to music can be perceived now. The sound stage has became wider with a very balanced output consisting of controlled highs, lively mids and decent lows. The bass is there, geaceful like a massive whale lurking beneath the ocean surface, but not bursting out to hit your ears like the dolphins. The combination of Hexa and Shanling UA3 combined with this Stairway Balanced Cable is just perfect for me. (For Now). Just a suggestion: the cable was sent to me in a single layer of bubble wrap within a plastic packet. I feel since they are sensitive equipment, they should be shipped in a small but firm cardboard box. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. Seems hard earned money we'll spent.

4.4mm pin has a good weight to it. 2pin connectors are solid, cable feels a little flimsy but sturdy. Doesn't alter sound in a magical way or something, very neutral, natural sound. Does the job, just what's needed.

I am using it with a Tangzu Wan'er SG 2 Red lion edition, and it sounds amazing, No way going back to single ended cable. This is my second 4.4 mm cable, the first being from Fiio. Compared to that, this one is soft and hence more flexible, but feels less sturdy than the Fiio.
