Tuning, presentation, overall package. The Wan’er are a very impressive set of IEMs and I feel that they have raised the bar even more in the 20€ bracket that seems to be exploding at the moment.
The Wan’er provide an excellent price-to-performance ratio. They are an exemplary sub-USD$20 option for beginners looking for their first IEM transducers.
The Tangzu WAN ER SG is a well-made, well-tuned budget earphone with middling technicalities. Impeccable tuning, decent imaging, good finish of the shells

The 7Hz Salnotes Zero has easily got to be among the best IEMs that you can get under Rs. 2000. This IEM puts a lot of its counterparts to shame and is a prime example of why you don't need to pay for tuning.

The best warm and smooth signature option

I really liked the Tangzu wan'er. It has very good warm and smooth signature. ( I compared it with BLON03, because of the price catagory )As compared to BLON03, its bass is more open and has thump, not as tight as BLON03. Its good option for EDM and POP. Not much difference in mid / vocal section between two. But, for female voice and treble I liked the BLON03. Main difference that I found between the two is that BLON03 has more crispy treble but lacks bit of bass, as opposite to Wan'er. And finally the imaging is also great in both, but extra points to Wan'er. Also the cable which comes with the box is really good. And one more thing I can clearly differentiate FLAC files quality in Wan'er than in BLON03.
If you like this kind of signature and listens to more edm, pop and FLAC and wants enhance the experience, go for Tangzu Wan'er. If you listen more female vocalist and you like treble go for BLON03. ( Disclaimer: Don't expect too much bass and thump as it is an iem, however if you expecting it then go for Boult Bass Boost headphones or sony xb series for around this budget)
I use Samsung M52 with Tiandirenhe CS pro (Basic DAC good option under 1500) and Poweramp app great combo.

Thanks a lot for your detailed and genuine feedback, we're glad that you have such positive thoughts about the product and we'll share your thoughts with the brand as well. It'll also help our fellow customers to make the right choice!

I like them a lot

Despite several attempts to cancel the order, the kind folks over at Headphonezone, shipped them to me anyway. I'm glad that they did since they cheered me up during a particularly difficult week. I prefer these over my Salnotes Zero which are much leaner in comparison. Despite not having the imaging of the Salnotes Zero, they have a very pleasing sound signature. These aren't neutral and do have a pleasing low end which doesn't overpower the mids (a lot).

Deftones' "Be Quite and Drive Away" highlights the IEMs shortcomings when it comes to the highs. To be honest, it doesn't bother me a lot. I can listen to music and YouTube videos on these for hours at a stretch without feeling fatigued. If you feel like your Salnotes Zero and Moondrop Chus don't have sufficient low end for your liking, these are worth the price. The cable doesn't come with a microphone if you care about convenience.

Hey Hariprasad, thank you so much for the awesome review!

Best under rs2000

Best pair of IEM's you can get under rs2000.
I was blown right away when i put them in my ears, first impressions was awesome. 🥰

Tonality, Timbre is correct, Instruments separation is good, although the sound stage is not very wide, 3.5/5 for sound stage.
Plenty of sub-bass and mid-bass, bass doesn't bleeds into mids.
Vocals are forward, Male and female vocals sounds lively. 👍
Highs are little recessed out of the box, but you can easily equalise it as you like.
I personally like little sparkle (the shimmer of cymbals). 👍

Build quality is ok, i don't think the cable is going to last very long. The stock eartips provided inside the box has many options to choose from, it's going to fit inside everyone's ear.
But it's little hard for me. i like soft, wide bore and shallow eartips. 👍

Don't think twice grab them, before it gets out of stock.

Hey Rajat, thanks a lot for this lovely review and we are glad you are enjoying it! Keep the music playing.

Aditya (Gurugram)
Better than I expected, but contemporary music lovers beware.

For a little context, I don't consider myself much of an "audiophile", but I do work professionally in music, having a "whatever gets the job done" mentality for most things. I've spent a lot more time building and using audio gear for producing music rather than listening.

I used to own and love a pair of SE215s, but they took a bit too much of a beating from years of on-stage use. I never properly entered the Chi-fi realm before (except for the QY7s at the height of their popularity), but I set myself a budget of 2K, only to find very fierce competition. I ended up going with these over the Chu 2 or Salnotes Zero; while I do intend on getting those 2 someday too, it's not gonna be anytime soon, so I have no real comparisons to make to them yet.

Straight out of the box, I first used them for 3-4 hours with a generic USB-C dongle, connected to my Nothing Phone 1; nothing special here. The tuning was immediately to my liking, being noticeably more comfortable for me to listen to than my current OnePlus Nord TWS earphones. I eventually used these for a few days both with that and my MOTU M4 audio interface.

While I wouldn't go as far as to call these transparent or flat, they are in general very pleasing to listen to across a wide variety of auditory content, with well-rounded reproduction of vocal timbres in spoken word (something that Airpods taught me wasn't, like, a given...) for podcasts and Youtube and the like, and a very nice sense of belonging to each instrument when listening to jazz- Real Book standards and new-school music academia mania alike-, rock, blues, and older forms of metal. Orchestral music and ambient scores are a treat too, given the impressive yet not overbearing soundscape; it genuinely does not go overboard and instead hits on that instinctual sense of interaural differences, better than my old SE215s as well as a friend's pair of KZs. If you aren't the type to listen to much hip-hop, techno, modern bass music, or generally bass-heavy content like that, then you can just stop reading this now and consider this a '5/5 must buy' from me.

However, since a lot of people who'd be the type to even consider these will be the type to listen to a lot of that kind of music (including myself), there are 2 main caveats I'd be remiss not to mention. Now, let me be clear; these are *not* deal-breaking issues for me, especially at this price, and I very much look forward to a long and happy future with these earphones. However, these issues have bothered me just a bit too much for me to not leave them undocumented, and they're the main things keeping these from being the perfect earphones for the price, in my opinion.

1. The separation between the mid-bass and bass: It's good. Like, really good. Like, so good that it actually undoes the work producers often do- especially in trap- of saturating and colouring the bass instruments (especially 808s) to bring out harmonics and make them sound heavier and more cohesive. It's a fairly weird effect for me to experience, but there's something about these earphones that makes you very acutely aware of what's happening below 150Hz-ish vs. what's happening right above it. This could just be as simple as a valley in the beginning of the mid-bass ranges, or something else entirely, but it's definitely something to watch out for as bass-heavy music will be a slightly weird experience on these.

2. Not the greatest transient reproduction: Part of my initial testing was going through the Phantom Liberty OST with these, and while overall it was definitely a great experience, one of the tracks called "Contra La Luna" by P.T Adamczyk caught me off-guard; the second half of the track is essentially pure synth-percussion-heavy industrial techno, thus a track where the individual transients of each component, be it the envelope of the bass, the rolling hi-hats, the attack of the kick, are all finely tuned to give a specific sense of urgency and pace. And these... kinda don't get that across. I listened to a lot more percussion-heavy music, from Kokoko to Zakir Hussain, Wiwek to Sungazer, and sure enough, these really do dull down transients. Not to an egregious degree, admittedly; a kick drum is not going to sound like it's been low-passed/had its attack slewed, but if you are really, really hardcore into your techno, or drum solos, or cowbell phonk (or want to use these for monitoring or mixing anything that involves percussion at all), it may be worth looking at other options.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with these earphones, I still consider these a significant upgrade over my old SE215s and they are, frankly, very close to perfection for this price.

Oh, and they're real pretty ^_^

Thanks a lot for your detailed and genuine feedback, we're glad that you have such positive thoughts about the product and we'll share your thoughts with the brand as well. It'll also help our fellow customers to make the right choice!

Don't doubt just blind buy it

I had only rs 2500 to spend for my iem.
So I just started researching what to buy. So if you are like me who is starting his/her audiophile journey and tight on budget or don't wanna spend much , just trust me on this when am writing this review after using this tangzu wan er sg, is the best one you can buy in 1500-5000 price range, you don't need to spend more money to get good sound quality in this range. I own a realme wireless earbuds 2 neckband ( ₹2500), with all the ANC and other tech features stuff but IMO this tangzu iem sounds more beautiful than my realme. I like Western and Indian classical music instrumental music, orchestra..and this one does a beautiful for this. It's value for money. 7hz timeless or Dunu Titan S is the only upgrade you can buy if your bank allows that.

Hey there, thanks a lot for this lovely review and we are glad you are enjoying it! Keep the music playing.
