The KZ brand has released a new IEM called the ZVX, which boasts several advanced features. KZ has focused on improving the driver used in the ZVX and has implemented various cutting-edge innovations. The ZVX comes equipped with a 10mm dual cavity super linear dynamic driver, which has a diaphragm thickness of around 4.8 microns. This thin diaphragm reduces mass, improving overall vibration sensitivity and preserving finer sound details, distinguishing it from drivers used in more expensive earphones.
APPLYING CUTTING-EDGE ELECTRONIC FREQUENCY MODULATION TECHNOLOGY
KZ has introduced a new electronic frequency modulation technology that provides more accurate and precise control over the output of the entire frequency range. This technology can achieve any mainstream-style frequency response curve on a single driver without traditional damping structure tuning, which is less sensitive when adjusting the target frequency. Unlike EQ sound effect adjustments, this new method does not alter the sound through software, resulting in no loss in quality and no need for an external power supply.
UTILISING A FOUR LAYERS VOICE COIL DESIGN FOR POWERFUL LOW-END OUTPUT
KZ has designed the ZVX with a four-layer voice coil, which is different from the traditional dynamic driver that has a double-layer voice coil. The purpose of the double-layer design is to ensure there is enough space between the T-iron and the magnet and avoid NG due to the assembly process's dimensional tolerance. However, KZ has addressed this issue by reducing the magnetic gap and using a four-layer voice coil design on the ZVX, which results in better low-frequency performance with more impact than the traditional dynamic unit.

When i got the ZVX for the first time sound was good but after 9-10 days my left bud sounds lower in volume as compared to right one. I sent the iem back to headphonezone for warranty claim and they said "we couldn't find the defect in your unit" and they sent it back. Today on 12 August after almost a month when i received my iem back 🥲 Now right driver sounds lower as compared to left one. Like what the hell is this issue man. Damm you KZ and Headphonezone how the hell you couldn't find the defect in my unit and you call yourself professionals. I am frustrated. Now what do i do there is no official KZ service center in india.
These are well Balanced and would compete with 7Hz Salnotes Zero and Hola.
The Kz ZVX are quite diffrent from what KZ usually makes,.it is perhaps the most detailed sounding IEM in this price range.

Got the silver ones because some users reported paint chipping on the black ones. Coming to the performance of these iems, to my surprise they performed well with my apoco f1 and laptop without a dedicated dac since i saw someone complaining of low volume,however i had some trouble getting the right fit with the foam tips. When I did manage to ge them in, I noticed that the sound felt flat with no base at all. but after swapping them for silicon buds and burning them in for a good 10 hours I was able to feel the bass and relish the deep rumble these iems were claimed to possess. Although the bass isn't as boomy as more mainstream earphones like the realme buds 2 and my Nord wired earphones, the vocals were much cleaner with better details. the sound felt much wider as well since I came from a very budget mainstream set.
I expect it to be good at gaming, as I had a very good time watching Scarface on these iems,that is untill one of the metal casing fell off forcing me to return them.
I haven't got the new ones yet nor have I had the old ones taken from me but I hope that head phone zone will be able to resolve this issue promptly since it's been two days since I requested a return.
The right side iem had significant lowered sound than the left one.
The volume of one earbut is less than the other. I did see some other reviews too with similar issue. Semms to be a common manufacturing defect . Have given for replacement will update when the resolution is done by headphone zone. Otherwise the earphone is amazing especially the sound stage.
