However, planar magnetic drivers, like electrostatic drivers, use a flat, thin diaphragm in contrast to a coil. The planar drivers are known for their quick transient response.

Replaceable Cables

A pair of headphones with a replaceable cable has many benefits, and one of them is if the connecting cable has a problem, it doesn’t mean that you have to buy a new one. If the connecting cable gets pulled or damaged, you can replace it and keep using your good-old headphones or IEMs. This way, your headphones will be protected and will last longer. With the advancements in cable manufacturing, you now get a variety of replacement cables with various termination options, lengths and quality.

PRESENTING THE FIRST-EVER COLLABORATION BETWEEN 7HZ X CRINACLE - THE SALNOTES DIOKO

7HZ is a brand founded in 2012 by a team of engineers and audio enthusiasts who came together to break into the realm of audio products. The engineers at 7HZ strive to provide effective setups, enhancing drivers' inherent skills and pushing their limits to make them shine. 7HZ Timeless brought in a revolution as it was the first-ever Planar IEM from the company that was tuned to perfection. The most unbiased IEM and headphone reviewer, who goes by the name Crinacle, is well known to audiophiles. His collaboration with 7HZ is here to astound you. Crinacle is a well-known reviewer and critic in the audio industry who maintains a database of more than 1000+ tested and measured IEMs online. With the launch of the new 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko, 7Hz has now joined the list of companies that Crinacle has collaborated with, including Moondrop, FiiO, Courageous Audio, and Witness Audio to name a few.

14.6MM DUAL-CAVITY PLANAR DIAPHRAGM DRIVER TUNED BY CRINACLE TO DELIVER BALANCED AUDIO ACROSS THE FREQUENCY SPECTRUM

The 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko earphone is a cost-effective performer with a newly created 14.6mm dual-cavity planar diaphragm driver. This planar magnetic diaphragm has been developed and engineered to utilise the most effective ribbon distribution and magnetic circuit structure for a precise sound. The planar magnetic diaphragm driver's speed creates an audiophile sound character and provides astounding clarity and detail in every note. The 14.6mm diaphragm size further increases the surface area to reduce harmonic distortion, enabling audio resolution at all volume levels. A superb driver cannot provide exceptional sound without the proper tuning. Because of this, 7HZ and renowned audio reviewer Crinacle have collaborated to bring in the precisely tuned 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko. Crinacle is a pioneer in the Hi-Fi audio industry and has the most expertise in fine-tuning measurements in in-ear monitors. An integrative tuning method has been incorporated in 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko to offer tonal balance throughout the frequency range.

STRUCTURAL TUNING MECHANICS COUPLED WITH N55 MAGNET, DOUBLE-SIDED ARRAY DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONAL AND STUDIO USAGE

The highest performing N55 magnet is incorporated in the 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko driver's double-sided array arrangement. This powerful magnet maximises the effective magnetic flux to more efficiently drive the current when combined with developed magnetic circuit construction. The Salnotes Dioko delivers a tight, organic, and transparent sound. The Dioko's bass is powerful yet keeps a balanced midrange for monitor-like precision thanks to structural tuning mechanisms. The Salnotes Dioko's treble is organic, but it also fully embodies the planar driver's attributes of flawless detail presentation and airiness. The Salnotes Dioko's tuning is based on Crinacle's description of a natural and balanced earphone, making it ideal for studio and professional use. The versatility of 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko will also please the most demanding audiophiles as it presents a coherent and cohesive approach for audio delivery.

ELEGANT LOOKS WITH TEMPERED GLASS & SAPPHIRE COATING COUPLED WITH FINE-TUNED CNC-MACHINED ALUMINUM SHELL

7Hz IEMs have had attractive visuals, such as the well-known 7Hz Timeless and Eternal. The 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko continues in the same vein and is the definition of beauty and elegance. It has tempered glass, and its surface has a sapphire coating and anti-fingerprint treatment. In addition to being durable and drop-proof, it also possesses a beautiful jewellery-like attractiveness. The 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko has an intricately CNC-machined body made of aviation-grade aluminium, making it sturdy and portable for daily use. You can concentrate on your music because of the sound isolation offered by the metal housing. The shell surface has also undergone a level of oxidation treatment, making it robust and wear-resistant.

FEATURING A PREMIUM COPPER AND SILVER-PLATED CABLE AND A WIDE ARRAY OF ACCESSORIES

Salnotes Dioko's cable has been designed by 7HZ to maximise the IEM's full potential. Another notable feature of the Salnotes Dioko is the 4-core Litz construction cable, which combines copper and silver-plated copper wires. With 216 individually coated strands, it provides a clear tone for the Salnotes Dioko to ensure high-quality sound transmission. The mix of copper and silver-plated copper results in a more dynamic sound that emphasises the bass's punch and the treble's airiness. The blend of copper and silver adds warmness and clarity to the presentation of sound elevating its sonic performance by tenfolds. Additionally, a personalised, large-capacity storage box is included in the package that shields the IEMs from dust and dings. It also has a practical approach to protecting your IEMs from moisture build-up and gives you the confidence that your 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko will last you for years. The 7HZ Crinacle Salnotes Dioko comes with a wide array of colourful eartips to ensure the perfect fit for the contour of your ears. The eartips offer passive noise isolation to ensure that you will have no issues with background noise interrupting your listening sessions.

Detailed Beasts!!

It is a detail monster, but the tuning is as such that the Bass is pretty tamed and hence can feel lacking at times, EQ is a quick solution for that.

They are pretty comfortable to my ears BUT no stock tip provided fit me, probably just my problem but yeah, I had to use Spinfits SP100, which improves the bass teeny tiny bit.

The overall presentation is definitely an A for my ears, Details and Sounstage are best I ahem heard at this price category[from my limited personal experience of TRI Starsea, TinHifi T4, Moondrop Ari a& Starfield]. The finish is pretty damn good but it can be a bit out there for some people because of its shiny shell.

Absolutely loved it, can recommend in a jiffy but keep in mind it is a relatively bright pair and if you are trebble sensitive the you might want to consider this before purchase.

Thanks a lot for your detailed and genuine feedback, we're glad that you have such positive thoughts about the product and we'll share your thoughts with the brand as well. It'll also help our fellow customers to make the right choice!

Well, they’re okay.

I bought them elsewhere. I agree with majority of the reviews you’ll find on the internet. It’s all - “detail beast”, “good sub bass”, “lacking thump”, “shouty treble” yada yada. I’ve been using them for some time now and while they’re absolute bangers when it comes to detail & definition, I can’t stand the shouty-ness of the treble. No matter how I EQ them (I’m by no means an audiophile or an expert, but I know my way around) they lose the details along with the treble if you try and fix that. After all the EQ they sound like an entry level IEM for 5 times the price. Buy if you’ve got spare cash and want “planars”, go ahead. And while some are okay with the design, fit and comfort, the wire completely goes over my ear and without the support they’re so heavy (it’s glass & metal, idk what I expected) that they begin to hurt my ears in about an hour. I’ve to take them off for the next 30 minutes or so.

Unmatched detail

Insane amounts of detail for the price. Lean bright signature with very airy sounding treble. The treble might be off-putting for the first 15mins but you get used to it fairly quickly. The treble on this is a bit hard to explain without hearing it for yourself; it's quite bright but still smooth and sibilance free. Mids are very clean and transparent; every instrument and vocal comes out beautifully layered and well separated. Bass might sound lean on tracks which do not have much sub-bass but on tracks with good sub-bass presence impact is very palpable. The soundstage is quite wide but has average depth. Imaging is fairly sharp and accurate. Details are in a different realm.

Anyone Having a hard time with treble should try this in equalizerapo.

Now coming to fit and build, the fit is a bit troublesome; you first need to seat in the tips properly and twist them around until they seal. You can't just shove them into your ear and expect them to seal well. Spinfits help with this but I prefer the included 'grippy' tips anyways YMMV. The build is tank-like, really solid, the cable is great as well.

I run them through my not-by-VE Avani but these don't seem to need much power anyways, so driving them directly should be good enough as well. They pair really well with Moondrop spring tips or any wide bore tips. Final E or any narrow bore tip make sibilance unbearable.

Hi there, we are so happy you took out time and elaborately reviewed the product. We are sure this will help our customers to make an even better and informed decision.
