I bought these out of curiosity for iems. Though unboxed, they were well packed and in prestine condition.
I use bose quitecomfort and was able to listen to them back to back. The Bose are 10x the cost and so obviously are a little bit better in clarity and balance. But surprisingly, pla13 are more enjoyable for some genres as they have more than adequate clarity and comparitively more bass. I didn't find these overly bassy as some reviews suggest, just enough to make you happy.
And there's very comfortable, though that'll depend on your ear canal size and sensitivity.
I also purchased a DAC, which significantly elevates the experience. I'm having some trouble with the DAC, but have put in a request for return/replacement.
Overall, very very impressed by headphonezone and pla13.

They are certainly hard to drive, even with my samsung dongle they struggle a bit. I have paired them with IFI GoLink DAC and they sound really good. Personal opinion I heard the 7Hz legato and I was like they are not much of an upgrade from my sony XB55AP that I have been using for multiple years. But HeadphoneZone came to my rescue and said they will accept return of 7hz Legato. Let me give you my first impressions of these earphones "HOLY****, these are bonkers". After using them for a week, I hate them, like really hate them because now I can't enjoy my car speakers anymore because of them. Go for them only if you can afford a good DAC and AMP otherwise you will regret buying these. Planar from CCA really do deliver. People in review say that they sound more like Dynamic drivers. My opinion does it matter how they sound like if you can enjoy the heck out of them??
Just take care about mids they are bit suppressed
They have TONS of BASS, I felt it better than 7hz Legato along with more crisp details.
