I got this in conjunction with the smsl su-6, it runs my Beyerdynamic DT 990 pros at 240ohms super easily, also works beautifully as a pre-amp to my powered speakers.

Just one word, I love this amplifer, I first stacked it up with Topping E30 it was perfect match for my sennheiser H650, OMG the vocals was so clear, rich,full of texture & details, I was blown away, it has wide sound stage and each instruments in thier places shined without any distortion whatsoever. I fell in love, I tell you, it will drown you in music, it will be very hard for you to remove your headphone. I also have Topping D70's Dac stacked up with Drop THX AAA 789 very linear transperent amplifer, (these are expensive ones) but I was pleasntly suprised, that S.M.S.L SH-6 stacked up with Topping E30 is very close in performance with D70's and THX 789. I also used Hifiman Sundaras, Sennheiser HD560s, Hifman 400i, Drop Sennheiser HD58X and IEM Moondrop Kanas pro. (whatever I threw at SH-6 it handled with with grace. I've beening enjoying this little amp for few months now, and I strongly recomended it. once again thanks Heaphone Zone for brining these excellent products to India, at reasonable prices. Much grateful for your service.

SH-6 is a no frills product which does its job admirably. Along with its sturdy build quality, it has a very clean and revealing delivery with any headphone. The power delivery is consistent across the spectrum and there is hardly any distortion. The lack of a balanced output may be a sore point, but at its price point it may be nit-picking, as speaker pre-outs are a nice bonus. Overall, its a good amplifier for a bargain.

SMSL SH-6 is a brand new mini desktop headphone amplifier in a compact form factor. It is equipped with SMSL's Ultra-Low Distortion Linear Feedback Circuit that enables it to produce a tremendously clean output signal with ultra-low distortion and high SNR ratings. It achieves an ultra-low distortion rating of 0.00006% ensuring clean output for you. Your HiFi headphones will bloom with an ultra-clean amplifier such as the SH-6. Considering the exceptional performance of the SH-6 it has been awarded the Hi-Res Audio certification. 
EQUIPPED WITH PREMIUM COMPONENTS FOR UNMATCHED AUDIO PERFORMANCE
The SMSL SH-6 has been engineered with the highest quality of audio components to deliver pristine audio. SH-6 has been equipped with an ultra-low noise power supply so that the output noise is as low as 1.3uV. Sh-6 also features a high precision low-temperature drift resistor which allows the device to operate optimally at any temperature. You also find high-quality relays and pop-free noise circuitry design to elevate the performance even further.

SMSL SH-6 is a powerful and clean headphone amplifier. It houses a 6.35mm headphone output with a tremendously powerful output rating of up to 2.6W at 16Ω of load. At 32Ω of headphone load, the SH-6 achieves 1.3W of output power rating adequate to drive demanding headphones with ease. This power makes it possible to use sensitive IEMs and even full-sized headphones. The device has a 2-level gain switch, the low gain has 0dB gain, and the high-gain provides 15.5dB of signal gain.
ROBUST BUILD AND SHOWCASES A CLASSIC DESIGN WITH TOGGLE SWITCHES
The SMSL SH-6 is built with precision and high-quality materials. The external casing is made of metal with CNC integrated milling process to offer a super sturdy chassis. The device adopts a classic retro design with toggle switches on the front. Both the on/off and Gain switches have toggle knobs. There is a classically inspired toggle switch for two gain settings, high gain for 15.5dB and low for 0dB. This makes it possible to toggle between the desired gain setting at will.
