Astell&Kern has incorporated a Micro Rectangular Planar Dynamic Driver created to reproduce high frequencies. A group of tuning engineers used a trembler with a thin metal membrane and polymer film to achieve high frequencies that are as vivid to minimise frequency loss. This tuning consideration produces a high-frequency response that is both clear and lively. A custom driver created to reproduce both full-range and mid-to-low-range frequencies is the Coil Parameter Dual Custom BA Driver. It has four drivers in total, two BA drivers with extremely low distortion to provide crisp low to midrange vocals and two BA drivers with rich, perfectly balanced sounds specially tuned to harmonise each frequency band. The AK ZERO2's 10mm dynamic driver is painstakingly made using a completely automated process. The driver can now reproduce deep, rich low frequencies thanks to this. Along with the Dynamic driver, a second piezoelectric transducer creates a super tweeter for the ultra-high frequency region, which is difficult for many IEMs to reproduce.
