After four years every Fiio cable however sturdy or expensive sheds shielding just below the plastic casing underneath the bend around the ear and its only a matter of time for the metals to start shorting

Tripowin is a basic low cost cable that suffices for my needs as a replacement cable and the sound quality to my old ears is comparable

My meze rai solo cables finally gave and I opted for these. For beginner IEMs, these are fantastic, sturdy and very comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone with IEMs in the range of 5-20K

Tripowin - Zonie (MMCX)

I got these cables for my FiiO FH1 IEMs. The original cables got damaged so it was time for a replacement. These IEMs are legendary in terms of tuning and sound separation. There is a review about them from bad guy good audio reviews on youtube. These new cables are just as good as the original ones and quality of the cable so far seems promising. Audio quality is also good as they were with the original cables. (Listening on FiiO X5 mark3)

So, I have a Fiio FH3 and an iFi Zen DAC. When I plugged it into the DAC with the stock cable, it was good, but not noticably better than say good quality onboard audio. But I got this cable with the 4.4mm jack, and the sound just became noticably better that I can safely say you NEED this if you have a balanced output. Because if you're spending so much on a dac with a balanced output, and you have a decent pair of iems to pair it with, this will definitely benefit.

The quality of the cable itself is quite alright, but that's the reason I guess you have much more expensive cables. It's not bad by any means, it's quite good, it doesn't tangle too easy and doesn't feel like it's going to tear up or anything. I'm only using it solely for the desktop, so I am not expecting any premium. Hell I didn't even have much of a problem with the Truthear Zeroes tangly cable. Sure that was much of an inconvenience than having the Tripowin Zonie, but I personally wouldn't spend money for that. I am rating this 5 stars for the sound and the good enough cable quality. You get what you pay for sure in terms of build quality, but you get much more in terms of sound, provided you have decent gear.

And lastly, a big thank you note to Virendra from Headphone zone for this recommendation. He was friendly, and didn't go over board in recommending something much more expensive that might not have benefitted my somewhat entry level IEMs. Headphone zone has my trust.
