Got the box without the dongle! Just got the documentation and cable. Please check your package immediately! This first time in my last 15 years of online shopping experience. Unfortunately HPZ after sale service is not up to the mark. Calls are not attended and no call back as well. No response to ticket raised. Expected better response from HPZ.

It is a great product given its price having a 4.4 balanced output. It has a soothing and analogue kind of signature. Not over focusing on any of the aspect, so long sessions of listening does not become tiring. I have to mention that it has a really good power efficiency (much better than its competition). I have used a few mid tiered iems and some of those were a bit demanding, it had no problem driving.
But if you are buying then update the firmware first.

Didn't use much, just bought couple days ago. I am using it with OnePlus 10 pro and letshouer s12. My main purpose for buying this product to get more power, which it did.
You need to upgrade it's firmware to get independent volume control on dac. Easy process.
Sound wise I didn't notice much difference. Little improvement. But it gets loud as compared to before.

The Truthear SHIO has USB type-C input, which is compatible with Android devices, iOS devices, laptops and desktop PCs. It enables one to work with corresponding devices by replacing the cable, such as connecting Android devices and laptops with a type-C interface or even desktop computers with a type-C interface.
