In case you receive the TempoTec - Sonata HD Ⅱ with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The free replacement will be shipped only once the original order is returned.

A replacement will be issued only if:

- It is found to be defective
- It is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession
- The product is not different from what was shipped to you

You may not even realise it, but most of us use a digital-to-analogue converter (commonly known as a DAC) daily. The Sonata HD II allows for two modes of operation depending on the type of earphone/headphone connected. When connected with an earphone with Mic (Microphone), it enters the “Call mode”. When in this mode you can answer phone calls through Sonata HD II. When using an earphone without Mic, it enters the "Pure music mode”. There is no need to change firmware when you want to switch between modes, just use mode-specific earphones and that's it.

No change in sound quality

I was expecting a change in sound quality of my iem as I was using it with my phone previously and it was pretty expensive but I didn't notice any change in sound quality or sound stage hence 3 star but it is very helpful as it didn't negatively impact the sound so go for it if you don't have another choice.

I would highly recommend that you get this portable dac amp with any iem or headphones (there are certain cases where a more substantial dac amp would be better)
This chotu dac amp has just brought new life to my audio technica ath m50x which I have owned for God knows how many years, even with iems like the tanchjim Tanya, the bass feels more punchy the vocals more clear and crisp and the trebbles feel really pleasant, overall a great budget dac amp.
A cherry on top is that it has mic support so you can take calls even when you have the dac amp connected using your iem or headphones mic

There's a wide grin on my face everytime I listen 😁

I use Final E3000 IEMs with tempotec. And I must say the sound output is enhanced to a greater extent. The sound signature is more towards V shaped. The separation of each instruments and the depth is lovely 😍
I'm giving it 4 stars coz it drains the battery from my phone while also heating up

Hit and a miss

DELIVERY and PACKAGING:
As expected took 3 days as i live in a small town and packaging could be imroved in a box rather than a cover

Look and build:
Small and not much weight , looks fine and sturdy, needs care since its wire on both ends not swappable cable .

Sound:
(Not an expert)YES it makes a big difference to your earphones irrespective of the model brings most out of your earphones , bass becomes better , more lively sound sometimes little too much .

Cons: I need to say , since no one addressed this , the chip gets pretty warm and makes discomfort

Verdict: since i am tight on a budget i can make adjust for some small discomfort , overall good improvement. Spend some more if budget is not an issuse
