After deep research I bought this 7Hz Legato coming from Sony XB900N. I wanted that Sony’s extra bass in IEM form. This Legato’s dynamic driver delivers exactly what I want. This analog bass is just WOW. out of stock it sounds average majority of people might not like it. But after proper tuning with DAC it beats some S tier headphones in market. This is the Budget friendly compared to all Fatfreq. For Gaming also 3D imaging is good.

If you want bass, then there's nothing better at this price

Upgrading from the kiwi ears cadenza, this felt like a boom box, its fun, but at the cost of details, but its fun set for the specific genre. Had to send my unit back cos my unit had low volume in the left shell. Although i had to pay for shipping, my unit was thoroughly checked, still waiting for them to send it back, this process could be a little faster. One suggestion to prospective buyers, is to have a neutral set and use this only if you'd like to have fun with a whole lot of bass sometimes. This isn't an allrounder, the cable could be better but the case is just amazing, comparable to what you get with 20k iem sets

A Unique IEM for my Collection.

First the delivery was very fast and really good packing. The IEM build and accessories is of good quality no doubt. But when it comes to sound there's some thing I don't know how to explain it. The Sound coming from this IEM is unique. I have never experienced this kind of sound before. The eartips that comes pre-applied with the IEM doesn't give the clean sound. I have tried every eartips & found the blue colour eartips with white colour code give the clean sound.
Some eartips gives more bass which is not clean . Which is kinda muddy bass and loss every detail. Which makes the IEM sound like cheap earphone. So the right eartips can only give the best from this IEM. And I think the eartips which gives less bass is the best for this IEM. The eartips with more bass deteriorates the music quality. That destroys the vocals and mids details completely.
I have bought this after seeing all YouTube reviews that praise this IEM bass monster, but they never explained the reality. The reality is that if you get more bass from this it will suppress the details of highs and mids. If you get a balanced bass there will be a perfect sound experience. And it all depends on the eartips. I was expecting a sound like my old Sony MDR - XB90EX headphones . But not even close. That was the best I have used ever. At that time it only costs under 4k. But the sound from that was kind exactly like a movie theatre . That was so great. Anyway thanks Headphone zone . This IEM is good for everyday music listening, YouTube video watching and for movies. 👍🏻

Finally Found the Bass I Was Looking For – 7Hz Legato!

It’s been a long journey, but the 7Hz Legato finally quenched my thirst for that extra punchy bass I’ve been chasing for over a year.

It all started when I lost my Sony WI-SP510 neckband—a pair I absolutely loved for its addictive bass. I tried to get the same model again, only to find it had been discontinued. That’s when I moved on to the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. They were good, but something was still missing. After a year, I passed them on to my wife and started searching for that perfect bass experience again.

While exploring more options, I discovered IEMs and stumbled upon the Headphones Zone YouTube channel. Their review of the BlackBird IEMs caught my attention, especially their emphasis on bass, so I ordered them on launch day. Unfortunately, they didn’t live up to my expectations either—even after giving them 15 hours of burn-in as recommended. I ended up returning them, though I only got store credit. Honestly, I felt a bit disappointed.

Determined not to give up, I dived into more reviews and got myself the Fiio FH3. After burn-in, I found the bass nice—but again, that real punch just wasn’t there. I even tried the Sony EX255 from a local store, hoping it would be closer to what I wanted, but no luck there either.

Then one day, I got a notification from Headphones Zone: the 7Hz Legato was back in stock. I went through the reviews and was surprised to see that someone else had experienced a similar journey with the same set of products as me. That gave me hope. I immediately placed the order.

When they arrived, I was blown away. The bass was on another level—punchy, deep, and incredibly satisfying. It transformed the way my favorite songs sounded. I couldn’t stop listening and ended up using them for six hours straight!

Was looking for basshead IEM and found the perfect one!

I had the KZ ZS10 Pro before and it was good but I always felt like I needed more bass. Then I got the Blon Z300. It was smooth but very muted. Then I finally got the Legato and wow, this is PERFECT! This is exactly what I needed! With the Headphone Zone x DDhifi dac and the Tripowin - C8 (0.78mm 2pin) this set is complete. I can take calls, adjust volume and the cable is also great. These are my most fave IEMs by far!

Apart from bassy music (honestly all music), watching Mandalorians on this is amazing. Any kind of cinematic experience is delivered like it is in the theatre.

7hz legato- premium bass iem under budget.

Review after 2 days. Hopefully I shall update a review after long term use.
Am not an audiophile, just a casual listener.
This is a beast in its own way which needs burning in of at least 12-18 hours and is still being refined.
This beast need an external DAC if being connected to phone. A simple 3.5mm phone outlet will not even scratch its surface in terms of its performance.
I am using it with iPhone 13 and the DAC from an old iPhone 8plus in Spotify. It givens immense quality in music, great bass and avoidance of ear piercing treble. My preferred tracks are rock and metal of 90s. Pink Floyd, Metallica, iron maiden, Godsmack, tools etc of such kind. This monster is build for that for sure.
It fit nicely into the ears, no ear pain or ear ache after continuous listening of few hours straight.
The connection wire is beautiful, like that of a twisted maiden hair. Oh mamma this baby is for rock and metal songs.
I don’t think it will be good for neither precise treble filled music or for studio works.
For now I am really happy with the product. Thank you headphone zone and 7hz.

Great for movie watching

Fit and Comfort are good. Using it for more than a month. It really needs a lot of burning for sound to open up.
Dark-sounding earphones. Good for someone who has treble fatigue. But you do miss treble sparkle. Vocal comes naturally, no harshness bit little veiled.
Both mid and sub-bass has nice feeling like listening to speakers with good fit ear tip. Not fast bass. Would not say it has lots of bass, it's just the right amount. The quality of the bass can be improved to get more fineness and details. You get a good punch and feel while watching movies. Soundstage, layering, and separation are average.
