DESCRIPTION
GROOVE ON HIGH-FIDELITY AUDIO WITH THE BURSON AUDIO CONDUCTOR 3X REFERENCE
Burson Audio is challenging the status quo by pushing the boundaries of audio excellence via innovation. They're known in the audio industry for using discrete audio opamps in their products' audio signal chain. Burson Audio developed its own Max Current Power Supply (MCPS), which is embedded in all of its products. It needed a herculean effort to design an amplifier that was sleek and capable of delivering audiophile-grade performance. You'll never want to add another machine to your desktop with Conductor 3X Reference at your table. It is the ultimate all-in-one, proving that something so simple to use can deliver full-range sound and supreme performance. Burson Audio has done it again with the all-new Conductor 3X Reference.
HIGH FIDELITY AUDIO CONVERSION WITH CLASS-LEADING AUDIO ARCHITECTURE
Burson Audio as a company has a reputation for building some of the most elegant
and high-performing DAC & Amps. The Conductor 3X Reference took three years to develop. Conductor 3X
Reference is embedded with the industry-leading SABRE32/ESS9038Q2M DAC and XMOS USB receiver chips. It has
two ESS9038 DAC chips, and its USB receiver comes with a bespoke driver from Thesycon, Germany. The result
is unrivaled processing power, capable of flawlessly reproducing DSD512 and 32bit/768kHz audio. The
Conductor 3X Reference is also equipped with a Qualcomm/CSR8675 Bluetooth 5.0 receiver with LDAC and aptX HD
audio codecs. It takes Bluetooth playback to new heights in terms of sound quality and ease of use.
FEATURES 7.5W CLASS-A AMPLIFICATION STAGE TO DELIVER A PRISTINE AUDIO EXPERIENCE
The first and most profound impression of the Conductor 3X Reference is its overwhelming energy. The Burson Conductor 3X Reference pushes 7.5W power Class A XLR, 3.7W SE (3XR) and 7.5W Class A SE (3R). It energizes every note and space with absolute control and accuracy. The Conductor 3X is uncompromising, with one DAC chip per channel. Class-A and using top-quality components throughout, including Neutrik XLR connectors. By incorporating a fully balanced design, the Conductor 3X achieves ultra-low output impedance. The Conductor 3X Reference is an excellent improvement for single-ended audio systems.
MODULAR DESIGN WITH DISCRETE OP-AMP ROLLING CAPABILITIES FOR CUSTOMIZING YOUR SOUND
For over 15 years' Burson Audio has been pushing its opamps' sound quality and presentation to new highs with each new revision. Burson Audio builds discrete circuits for specific applications rather than the jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none specs. Conventional IC opamp is a single piece of silicon with more components on a signal path that worsens the sound quality. Burson Discrete opamps are designed for audio amplification only. They manually desolder a transistor or resistor which leads to not having many components in a signal path that delivers clean and crisp audio. Burson Discrete OpAmps sound much more transparent and accurate than any IC OpAmps. The OpAmps are also upgradeable, allowing you to customize the sound of your system. The Conductor Performance comes with Burson V6 Vivid discrete opamps, The V6 Vivid is dynamic, transparent, and exciting. From its incredible dynamic range, and three-dimensional soundstage to its ability to reproduce the finest micro details. It invites you to witness that moment of recording. But Burson Audio does not dictate your listening experience. The Conductor encourages opamp rolling with gold-plated DIP8 sockets along its signal path. With hundreds of audio opamps out there, you have the freedom to tailor your listening experience to your preference.
ALL-NEW OLED DISPLAY AND INTERFACE PROGRAM INTEGRATED FOR EASY USER EXPERIENCE
The Conductor 3X Reference has five sets of MCPS, which implies that the Display/Functionality, DAC, and analog left and right are powered separately. The all-new OLED display and interface program provides a soothing and easy user experience. It has a machined solid aluminum knob that feels exquisite. The Max Current Power Supply (MCPS) increases the voltage frequency from 50Hz to 170kHz. Its low impedance means that output transistors receive enough energy quickly.
A CLASS-LEADING BUILD QUALITY WITH THE COOL CASE AND A REMOTE
Let's face it, the majority of audio equipment cases are unappealing and inconvenient. They frequently have exposed screws, sharp corners, and dull hues. Class-A amplifiers even have finger-cutting heat sinks! that detract from the look of any living room. Conductor 3X Reference is composed of high-density aluminum that has been space-grey electroplated. Only four visible screws are visible beneath the Cool Case's belly. It also functions as a unitary heatsink that is 300% more efficient than prior Conductors. It's audio jewelry at its finest, and it both looks and sounds great. Conductor 3X Reference comes with machined aluminum remote control for easy operability and a microphone built-in.
