INTRODUCING THE MOST ANTICIPATED PORTABLE DAC & AMPLIFIER - THE FIIO BTR7
FiiO was founded in 2007 and is at the pinnacle of achievement in terms of designing portable audio devices. The brand name FiiO is composed of Fi(fidelity from HiFi) and iO(number 1 & 0), representing the feeling and convenient life that digital brings to life. The engineers at FiiO have a positive and innovative spirit as thriving as spring. FiiO achieved great success and critical acclaim with their previous Bluetooth amplifiers like the BTR5 and BTR3. The new BTR7, which FiiO has introduced, shines in all its splendour. Although the BTR7 is loaded with features, its outstanding sound quality is the most crucial element of its design.

SAY BYE-BYE NOISE AND HELLO TO CLEAN MUSIC WITH DUAL ESS SABRE DAC CHIP AND DUAL THX AMP CHIP
FiiO BTR7 hosts dual ESS Sabre DAC chipsets; It houses two ES9219C DAC chips from ESS Sabre Technologies. The BTR7 contains a twin, high-performance ES9219C DAC processor, a Low Pass Filter, and two THX AAA-28 amplifiers. These components make up the three tiers of HiFi audio architecture. THX AAA™ is the world’s most linear amplifier technology developed for delivering the cleanest level of audio reproduction possible. THX Achromatic Audio Amplifier (THX AAA™) ensures the ultimate no-compromise headphone audio experience by supplying the world’s highest fidelity audio with infinitesimally low-level noise, distortion and power consumption. The BTR7 is the first portable Bluetooth amplifier to utilise two of the THX AAA-28 amplifiers. The materials used to design the audio circuitry are precise, and so is the power supply.

EXPERIENCE A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE ON THE POWER OF SOUND WITH 8X MQA SUPPORT
The FiiO BTR7 uses separate analogue and digital sections, and a total of 13 LDOs are incorporated for voltage regulation garnering clean and massive power. LDO, which stands for Low Dropout, can operate at a low potential difference between input and output. Sometimes, it's referred to as a saturation or low-loss linear voltage regulator. The engineers at FiiO had a "Eureka" moment when they realised that they could integrate four THX AAA amplifier channels into a small chassis. The BTR7 hosts a balanced audio design, which produces 30% more balanced power output and 88% more single-ended power output than earlier models. Experience a pure sonic voyage with the BTR7, which can capture subtle nuances and every minute detail and dynamic in your music. MQA technology is built into the BTR7, allowing you to replay and stream MQA audio files. MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) 8X rendering captures 100% of the original studio performance.

FEATURING QUALCOMM AND XMOS CHIPS FOR EXCEPTIONAL BLUETOOTH RECEPTION AND WIRED DECODING
FiiO has a reputation for building some of the most elegant and high-performing Bluetooth amplifiers. BTR7 follows the same suit and comes equipped with the Qualcomm QCC5124 Bluetooth chip and XMOS XUF208 USB receiver chips. The XMOS XUF208 is capable of decoding DSD256 and PCM 384kHz files effortlessly for a high-fidelity listening experience. The Qualcomm QCC5124 Bluetooth chip, which has a dual DSP and dual-core CPU architecture and supports Hi-Res formats like LDAC, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive, as well as more widely used codecs like AAC and SBC, is also included in the FiiO BTR7. It takes Bluetooth playback to new heights in terms of sound quality and ease of use. The revolutionary seamless metal frame antenna design used in the BTR7 by FiiO ensures that Bluetooth connections are more stable and interference-free. The BTR7 can also be connected to your phone as a "dongle," serving as a wired decoder and headphone amplifier. To enter and exit "dongle" mode, only click the "Charge" button once. The BTR7 provides brain-melting sound quality and generous power output without draining the battery of the connected device.

RADIANT AND SLEEK IPS COLOUR DISPLAY FUSED WITH WHOPPING 880 MAH BATTERY
Another example of the BTR7's genius is the display, which has a brand-new, vibrant UI that provides data like volume, power, gain, and audio format in an understandable manner. As a multifunctional Bluetooth amplifier, the BTR7 needs plenty of battery power when used throughout the day. The BTR7 has a whopping 880 mAh battery to support you all through the day. You will be left with enough juice in the device for long listening sessions. The BTR7 also supports Qi wireless charging which takes ≤3 hours to get it fully charged, and charging stops when the battery is full. A full charge of the BTR7 may be achieved in roughly 1.5 hours using USB cable charging, which is effective and quick. The BTR7 has a high-performance lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 880mAh. It delivers about 9 hours of playback with (ACC format, low gain,3.5mm headphone out) and about 8.5 hours (LDAC format, low gain,3.5mm headphone out). With a balanced connection, BTR7 provides about 8 hours (ACC format, low gain,4.4mm headphone out) and about 7.5 hours (LDAC format, low gain,4.4mm headphone out).
NOTE : It is advised to use DC 5V 2A to charge your BTR7.

EXPERIENCE IMPECCABLE OPERABILITY WITH DEDICATED APP, CAR MODE AND THOUGHTFUL INPUT-OUTPUT CAPABILITIES
The BTR7 not only supports in-line controls but also supports control done via a companion app, allowing you to operate it without even taking out the device itself! The equaliser functionality in the companion app allows you to adjust your music to your tastes from your phone/device. There is a car mode functionality, which will switch on and off the BTR7 when you power on the car providing easy operability. The Bluetooth and system firmware can get OTA (Over the Air) updates through the app. Numerous other functionalities can be controlled using the companion app. For example, you can change the volume by holding the volume rocker or skipping songs. The BTR7 includes both single-ended and balanced outputs, 4.4mm pentaconn (balanced) and 3.5mm (single-ended) outputs for compatibility with your collection of IEMs and headphones.
NOTE : If the USB firmware is stable there is no need to update it, but updates can be done via a USB cable if necessary.

EXCELLENT BUILD QUALITY WITH LAMINATED ALUMINIUM ALLOY BODY AND BUNDLED WITH ACCESSORIES
The BTR7 features the seventh-generation mecha design language, giving its riveting looks. Its comfort and ergonomics optimised laminated aluminium alloy body adds to BTR7's elegance. The BTR7 comes with a carefully chosen Bejirog leatherette case, which was processed and can present different textures under different lights. The BTR7's comprehensive UI information is displayed through precisely carved craftsmanship. Additionally, hot pressing was used to handle the side buttons with concave-convex identifications, resulting in more convenient and comfortable use. The BTR7 is bundled with a wide array of accessories like a type-C USB cable, type-C to the type-C data cable, and a fully functional leatherette case for protection.

A Brief Introduction to MQA and FiiO's Support for MQA: Click here
1. Please update the FiiO Control App to the latest version
Click the link to get the latest Android version: Click here
2. Ensure that the FiiO Control App is the latest version. Enter the settings menu of the App-> My devices->Tap the BTR7 to complete the connection.
After a successful connection, it will enter the Bluetooth control menu.
Note: The BTR7 supports a simultaneous connection to at most two devices.
2. We have deliberately designed the BTR7's volume adjustment to be out of sync with the mobile phone's. This allows more volume levels for more precise volume adjustments, so you will no longer be worried about over large or small volume.
What mobile phones adjust is the volume of the Bluetooth codec. If it is too small, it will affect the dynamics. While the BTR7 controls the volume of decoding and amplification, leading to less loss of sound quality. Therefore, it is suggested to set the volume of the phone to the maximum, and control the volume via the BTR7, which is convenient and can acquire better sound quality.
3. You can limit the volume, adjust the Bluetooth volume and volume of call via the FiiO Control app.
4. The default operation mode is 'hold volume buttons to switch tracks'. You could switch to 'Double click volume buttons to switch tracks' in the FiiO Control app.
Note: In fact, it is meaningless to compare the volume of the BTR7 with the mobile phone. Because the BTR7 is a graded adjustment, if the BTR7 is turned down, the volume on the mobile phone needs to be turned up. The sound resolution of the BTR7 is much better than the general mobile phone.
You could enable the wire function via the FiiO Control app. When wire function is on, you could use the headphones' remote control and a microphone. When wire function is off, you could use the microphone and button control in the BTR7 instead.
Note:
The BTR7 supports the CTIA standard for line control as well as line microphone. But the headset with OMTP protocol only supports normal listening.
Microphone is not supported in USB DAC mode. When connecting via Bluetooth connection, you could use the microphone in BTR7.
The BTR7 has a high-performance lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 880mAh.
Battery life:
about 9 hours (ACC format, low gain, 3.5mm headphone out)
about 8.5 hours (LDAC format, low gain, 3.5mm headphone out)
about 8 hours (ACC format, low gain, 4.4mm headphone out)
about 7.5 hours (LDAC format, low gain, 4.4mm headphone out)
So it is recommended to use a 5V2A charger, which can fully charge the BTR7 in about 1.5 hours .
The BTR7 supports wireless charging. Any Qi protocol supported wireless charging device can charge the BTR7, it will fully charge the BTR7 in about 3 hours.
