Got these since I’d never owned an audiophile-grade headphone and wanted something that wasn’t too expensive. But after using them, I have to say.. the bass really wasn’t there. I was expecting something punchy, and somehow my IEMs delivered that better.
So of course, I started experimenting with the EQ. After a few minutes of tweaking, I was finally able to get the bass I wanted and it was amazing. Gotta say, the bass was really just locked behind a bit of EQ work.
At the end of the day, I’m satisfied with these.
Also these headphones are comfortable.

I felt like giving up on these cans within 10 mins of unboxing. Just like some of the other users' reviews here, the bass was underwhelming and disappointing, almost like Moondrop Chu 2 dsp. While I like bass, it shouldn't be at the cost of clarity, details and balance - something that Truthear Zero 2 does very well. I bought the ND Planet on based on HBB's YT review - and oh boy, did it turn out a cracker! Keeping aside the subjective build quality and aesthetics, ND Planet's harman-esque signature is unbeatable under 6-7k; so much so that it reminded me of Simgot Supermix 4! Coming from that recco, I trusted HBB's review and just blindly ordered this Division. Every reviewer out there praised the bass of these cans. But NO - these don't have bass out of the box. Don't believe the firangi reviewers - these have a neutral almost-studio signature. Clarity and balance is incredible, with sparkly details. Perfect for balance-heads!
So why am I still giving 5***** ? Here comes in Poweramp Equaliser :-)
While there's no publicly available EQ for Division yet, I tried the v-shaped 'Bass & Treble' built-in EQ profile. And boy, did these cans come alive!! Suddenly all those reviews turned true. Phew, what a relief! Until then I was cursing myself for buying this instead of saving up to upgrade to FiiO FT1 (incredible cans I heard at HPZ Connect).
I used the Division with Poweramp EQ + YT Music (highest quality) through Audiocular D07 DAC/amp - enough to drive these cans. Also used it with FiiO BTR11 - noticeably SQ upgrade when I switched from AAC to LDAC.
So all you guys who've bought this and ruing your decision, fire up Poweramp EQ app and dsp away your disappointment! :-D

I am new to the whole Audiophile scene and Decided to give Kiwi Division Headphones a shot. Do note that I do not know much about stuff like EQ, Bass, etc which other reviews mention.
Now here's what I think about this. I have had other headphones from Zebronics, JBL, Cosmic byte, etc. These headphones really have superior quality in terms of audio than those I have tried so far. Although mic quality could be better but I guess the detachable cable can be replaced later (?).
Overall for a normal everyday user these are great and I combined it with a DAC from this website for my Android device to get the same quality on it. Tip: never buy cheap DAC.

i was expecting a TON of bass but i guess this is what bassy sets are in the context of headphones? it sounded pretty neutral to me unlike what the graphs suggest and it's extremely comfortable. lots of detail. the sounstage is okay. the cables are sturdy and the mic also sounds good. the bass hits when it needs to and the vocals are very clear. a good set of cans. i was confused between this and samson sr850 thank god i got this instead if this is bassy I'd probably have to go deaf with the latter 😭 not what i was expecting but satisfied regardless. and as usual thank you headphonezone for the quick responses :D ps. listen to neverender by justice with these on and thank me later tehe

Blind bought this after reading and watching review videos on how bassy this set is. Now I don’t know if it’s just my set … but it’s totally bass less! For comparison, my 2k moondrop 1 which is supposed to be a neutral with low bass is bassier than this set! Also my right can is louder than the left one for some odd reason! Drove these overnight for burn in just in case that works overnight for 12-14 hours. Yet nothing. Tried using it with a iFi Go Link, BTR5 and BTR11. All the same. Only worked decent when doing manual eq while using it on music production software. Hence this review. Hope others have had a better experience than me.
