SMSL launched the D400 Pro, an all-new DAC designed to deliver excellent sound performance, with MQA and MQA-CD decoding, which decodes MQA-encoded content from CDs using MQA technology. It provides various digital input formats and a high-resolution audio output and equips the flagship DAC chipsets AK4191 and AK4499EX, known for their high-quality audio performance. The SMSL D400 Pro features a built-in low-noise power processing, which improves power efficiency and lowers power consumption. Additionally, it features a Qualcomm high-end Bluetooth chip that supports LDAC (24bit/96kHz), aptX, aptX HD, SBC and AAC audio codecs for high-quality wireless audio transmission. SMSL also offers a full-featured remote control for enhanced convenience and control over the device's functions. It is a Hi-Res Audio and JAS Hi-Res certified product, which proves its capability to deliver sound in exceptional quality.

The SMSL D400 Pro features a flagship DAC chipset from AKM technologies, the AK4191 and AK4499EX. The chipsets are renowned for their excellent audio decoding abilities, and the SMSL D400 Pro ensures exceptional audio quality with accurate sound clarity and detail thanks to these chipsets. Speaking about the AK4499EX chip, in particular, offers an incredibly low total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) level of as low as 0.00006%. The SMSL D400 Pro enables the reproduction of audio signals with utmost fidelity, minimizing distortion and preserving the original audio quality. The SMSL D400 also provides various digital filters with up to 7 modes, specially tailored for processing PCM signals. These filters allow you to fine-tune the audio output to suit your sound style by simply adjusting the frequency response or emphasizing certain aspects of the sound.
